Kamala Harris Goes Full MAGA, Endorses This Signature Trump Policy

Politics is endlessly fascinating because of its unthinkable combination of the unavoidable and the unexpected, sometimes at the same equally impossible moment. Get Vice President Kamala Harris as an example. She is without a doubt the most cynical candidate to lead the Democrats as their standard-bearer since the last one. &nbsp,

Thanks to a little satire I wrote for you about Harris ‘ pitiful attempts to distance herself from the Biden-Harris record of “achievements” while also blaming Donald Trump for them, we all had a little fun at Harris ‘ expense on Monday. You’d think Trump had been leader for the past four years if you read Harris ‘ rates, which I did not make up for reading Monday’s column.

Prices? Trump’s problem. Record home rates? Trump’s wrong. advancing toward World War III? Trump’s problem. Border conflict? Trump’s problem.

And that brings us to today’s flip-flop, coming close on the heels of Harris doing the Triple Lindy on banning fracking, gun confiscation, decriminalizing illegal border crossings, decreasing funding for the Border Patrol, eliminating private health insurance, Medicare for All, court-packing SCOTUS, defunding police, Green New Deal, EV mandates, and ( I’m running out of breath here ) a federal jobs guarantee.

Harris wants to construct the walls.

Somebody get her a red MAGA hat, wo n’t you?

Harris is supporting a more aggressive multiculturalism plan as Donald Trump’s campaign attacks her on the border with tens of millions of dollars, according to Axios, later on Tuesday. &nbsp,

• Harris referred to Trump’s “medieval vanity project” as” the wall that was n’t going to stop transnational gangs from entering the United States” in her first presidential campaign in 2019.
• Trump’s border wall is a complete waste of taxpayer money, according to Harris ‘ Facebook post from February 2020, and it wo n’t make us any safer.
• In April 2017, shortly after joining the Senate, Harris said the walls was a” terrible use of funds. I’ll stifle any money for it.

Before she was for the walls, Harris was against it, but not in a Ceaușescu manner. &nbsp,

Snark besides, there’s an important lesson here in the manner Democrats operate and how their citizens do, too.

After the elections, each political candidate veers toward the middle. It’s simply a fact of democratic life, whether you want to call it dishonest or not. Tacing is largely a matter of de-selecting the problems your primary voters are interested in and putting more emphasis on the issues centrist general election citizens are interested in.

However, Harris has made a 180-degree turn on pressing problems that Democrats are concerned about. The only thing she would likely avoid trying to debase herself on would perhaps be abortion. And her supporters will be so impressed, convinced that she’ll flip-flop straight back on the most extreme points of her agenda because they know the flip-flops are just for the schmucks.

We keep asking,” Who is the real Kamala Harris”? but it could be that there is n’t one.
