Former Stoughton Police Officer Matthew Farwell has been detained by the SWAT team at FBI Boston for reportedly killing Sandra Birchmore. The organization immediately took him into prison, the company tweeted on X just before lunch. At 1:45 p.m., further information was added that the Boston federal courthouse may be open.
Prosecutors allege that Farwell on or about Feb. 1, 2021, strangled Birchmore to suicide, according to a little indictment filed in U. S. District Court in Boston.
Birchmore was born in 1997 and in March 2010, at the age of 12, Birchmore applied to be a student in the Police Explorer’s Academy, a junior program run by the SPD for which Farwell taught. The girl’s parents allege that Farwell started raping her when she was just 16 years old.
In December 2020, Birchmore revealed that she was female and claimed that he was Birchmore’s father. The next month, one of Birchmore’s companions called the police department to report what Farwell had reportedly been doing, but, according to the accusation, a police department employee tipped Farwell off to the problem.
Less than two weeks later, Birchmore may pass away.
