‘We want more babies’: Trump promises free IVF treatments amid abortion rights debate, says ‘US government will pay’ — But how?

Former US President Donald Trump stated in a recent press conference in Michigan that” under the Trump presidency, your government will pay for — or your insurance company will be required to pay for — all costs associated with IVF care.” Because we want more newborns, to put it nicely”. IVF treatments are renowned for their higher costs, which can often reach tens of thousands of dollars per round, and there is no guarantee of success.
Liberals are currently critical of Trump’s position in appointing Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade, ending federal abortion rights. Democrats and women’s voters have been highlighting the decision during the group’s most recent federal agreement and in Vice President Kamala Harris ‘ acceptance speech.
Trump has positioned himself as a modest on sexual problems in response to this censure. In an interview with NBC before the Michigan function, Trump suggested he may vote to reform Florida’s six-week abortion restrictions, saying,” I think the six months is too small. It has to be more day”. Trump did not, however, state his position on Amendment 4, a ballot initiative that calls for a longer pregnancy wait.
Trump’s feedback drew strong emotions from anti-abortion activists. Trump was criticized by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Marjorie Dannenfelser for omitting how he will voting on Amendment 4. ” Voting for Amendment 4 entirely undermines his place”, she said, emphasizing that Trump’s prior stance was against pregnancies after five months of pregnancy.
In addition to his IVF claim, Trump said that people would be able to withdraw newborn care charges from their fees under his management, asserting,” We’re pro-family”.
Trump’s attitude on pregnancy has varied over the years. He had formerly considered supporting a 15-week global abortion ban, but he eventually decided state-level control over abortion legislation.
