In a Denver district, members of the Cuban gang have taken over apartment buildings. But some local media outlets have been dismissing the difficulty, wrong, for months.
Despite what the president and Aurora Police say, traditional frontrunners in Aurora claim a Venezuelan group has taken control of some areas of the city.

The Aurora Police Department ( APD ) informed The Denver Gazette earlier this month that it was aware of criminal activity at properties where a large number of residents who are Venezuelan immigrants were residing.  ,” Investigating these offences is a concern for the APD due to concerns for the health of the people”, Luby told the publication.  ,
According to The New York Post, the Department of Homeland Security last month issued a “green light” to pin police officers and that TdA was operating in Denver. A TdA part was reportedly linked to a heinous assault of a Denver jewelry store in June, according to KDVR.

In Louisiana, East Baton Rouge sheriff’s deputies responded in April to a call from a Spanish-speaking woman who said she was being held captive and forced to have sex for money, according to The Advocate. The sex traffickers allegedly controlled 30 women, and their leader was a TdA member.
According to CNN, a 19-year-old cartel member shot two New York Police Department officers in June. Last year, the suspect illegally entered the country.  ,
