
MOSCOW: The regional government reported that in a late Friday Ukrainian attack on the western Russian city of Belgorod, five people were killed and 46 were hurt.
Vyacheslav Gladkov said that 37 of the wounded, including seven children, were taken to doctor.
Another car was blown up while moving on the road in a video from a car platform that was posted on social media and purportedly to show the attack. On the other side of the street, an explosion appears a second later. Reuters was unable to quickly confirm the video’s integrity.
Russia’s Investigation Committee announced on its Telegram stream that it had started a criminal investigation into the Belgorod harm.
Additionally, officials said a woman was hurt on Saturday while Ukrainian shelling the Belgorod region’s frontier town of Shebekino was carried out.
In recent months, Ukraine has carried out numerous assaults on Belgorod and another Russian frontier regions. The area has been the site of the problems.
In the conflict that began in February 2022 when Russia sent thousands of troops into its smaller neighbor, Ukraine and Russia claim to not have deliberately targeted citizens. The war has been referred to as a” special military activity” by Moscow.
