NEW DELHI: A Russian Mi-8T aircraft, carrying 22 people, including three team users and 19 people, went missing on Saturday in the Kamchatka Peninsula, located in the Far East area.
According to the Interfax media company, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency reported that the plane left from a center close to the Vachkazhets mountain in the Kamchatka area.
The team omitted to make contact with the staff after a set time, which was expected. Volunteers are now looking for the missing helicopter.
The Mi-8, a twin-engine plane designed in the 1960s, is commonly used in Russia and other places, though it has a record of regular accidents.
