
One person was killed and several others were hurt in a shooting incident that occurred Sunday near a Speedway petrol station in the Pittsburg neighbourhoods. Many people were shot near the Speedway located on State Street in Clairton, east of Pittsburgh, authorities said.
Pittsburgh police and other emergency workers were dispatched to the Crawford-Roberts and Bluff area border crossing of Fifth Avenue and Marion Street for a 10-round ShotSpotter notice only until 8 p.m. on Saturday, according to CBS News.
Three people were discovered in the street with bullet wounds. One man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. According to a document from Pittsburgh Public Safety, he was declared dead at the doctor.
A second man and a third person were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition with” substantial injuries.” Both patients were soon taken into operation, police added.
One of the patients was identified as 68-year-old Lawrence Kelley Jr. of Pittsburgh.
The event occurred one evening after a man attacked a group of Jewish learners while grabbing a drink. Two kids were treated at the scene of the attack at the school’s Cathedral of Learning on Friday nights, with one of the victims receiving injury.
