Although they are not sold on the financial side of things, a pair of Democratic Senators claim to be in general help of Donald Trump‘s demands for insurance to cover fertility treatments.
After saying he supports access to IVF, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR ) added he’d “have to evaluate the fiscal impact, whether the payer can afford to pay for this”.
” I’d had to review any distinct policy, as I had on any policy”, he said Sunday on NBC. ” I undoubtedly support people getting into IVF. It’s not even a contentious problem in any of the 50 state”.

According to the Harris plan, Trump and the GOP continue to oppose IVF and access to abortion.
” In case anyone has forgotten, Trump and]Sen. J. D.] Vance’s standard system promises to successfully boycott IVF and pregnancy”, Harris spokesman Kevin Munoz said Friday. Trump continues to reject severe legislation that would impede the access to IVF for households across the nation.
The Republican National Committee ‘s , platform, which was adopted in July, softened the GOP’s stance on abortion due to pressure from the Trump campaign but also called for members to “oppose Late Term Abortion while supporting mothers and policies that advance Prenatal Care, access to Birth Control, and IVF ( fertility treatments )”.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), appearing on ABC, floated a middle ground where a “means-tested income funds” for IVF may be approved.
” I think]Trump was ] just trying to show his support for IVF treatments”, Graham said of the proposal. The organization has been accused of opposing baby power. We’re no. We’ve been accused of being against IVF solutions. We’re no”.
Sen. Graham says Trump was trying to” show his support for IVF procedures” with his new comment on public money.

” We have tax credits for individuals to include children“, Graham continued. ” Maybe we should include a means-tested tax breaks for people who use IVF and other methods to conceive. I would support a tax breaks, means tested kind of like we do with kids. That makes sense to me, to inspire people to have children“.
When asked if he would support requiring insurance companies to cover the full cost of IVF, Graham responded with a smooth “no” citing the expense.
