What do Democratic politicians share with former professional hockey players like the Kansas City Current, the birthplace of Brittany Mahomes, and the wife of three-time Super Bowl winners? Certainly the will to change the propaganda-press narratives, in my opinion.
Mahomes made headlines earlier in the month for liking a blog about the 2024 Republican platform posted on past president Donald Trump’s Instagram page on August 13.
Neither the 29-year-old nor her player husband have previously publicly endorsed a particular political candidate. The unique Kansas City Chiefs ‘ darling was attacked by internet skeptics and self-declared” Swifties” for daring to make the most of common issues like safe borders, taxes cuts, and keeping people out of women’s sports.
If Mahomes were to follow the GOP lawmakers in Congress, she had probably try to avoid the controversy or keep it a secret from the attention of the most recent generation of Taylor Swift-inspired Chiefs fans. Mahomes, however, never gave in to her own needs yet after she had unliked the blog.
To frequently, Republicans who are concerned about what the wrong people think of themselves compromise their principles and voter preferences to win over their political adversaries and the corporate media. Senators and representatives alike do n’t hesitate to capitulate on key issues like abortion, in vitro fertilization, the border, religious liberty, Second Amendment rights, and more.
GOP politicians are frequently found refusing to hold tyrannical bureaucrats accountable for using the deep state against law-abiding Americans when they are n’t indulging Democrats ‘ radical policy whims. Instead of using their platforms to effectively highlight the advertising media’s daily hoaxing, many opt for toothed statements, clear threats, and finger-wagging.
Mahomes, unlike the cowardly fools that plague the corridors of Cannon, is n’t melting in the face of a strain plan. Especially one that sought to vilify her for, as Vox put it, assuming a “political stance]that ] appears to many to be at odds with Patrick’s personality” as a mixed person.
Otherwise, she’s moved past the business media’s bickering about her social media activity and “doubled over”.
” I mean seriously, To be a bigot as an child, you have to have some strong rooted troubles you refuse to recover from childhood”, she wrote on her Instagram story on Aug. 23. There is no cause for your mind to be thoroughly developed, and you detest to see other people succeed.
She urged her followers to honor people despite having different values in a post that appeared a few days later on her Instagram account.
You may agree with someone and still enjoy them, contrary to the current state of the world. You can have differing opinions, and still be friendly”. ” Read that repeatedly”! she wrote.
Mahomes ‘ ability to” stop caring about what people think, especially those who do n’t even know you” is not innate. As she explained during her Aug. 28 looks on the” WHOOP Podcast”,” social advertising used to get to me a lot”.
It was only after her father helped her “get to that level to where, you know, I’m strong in who I am, I’m confident in who I am, I’m convinced in me and his relation, and I’m comfortable in our life” that she was able to brush off the enemies.
” Now, it’s just like, honestly, I do n’t give a f-*-c-k what people have to say about me anymore”, Mahomes said. She eventually questioned,” Why does, you know, what other people say have to question at all”?
Mahomes and her DGAF perspective about the public’s whining have succeeded in lowering the bar to Republican opponents in handling business media-fueled controversy. Republicans who are serious about ensuring victory for their constituents should follow Brittany in dissipating the crooked media’s attempts to persuade them that their views are more important than their elected officials.
