
After inspecting its whole fleet, which was grounded following a” first of its kind” website part loss, Cathay Pacific announced on Tuesday that 15 of its Airbus A350 jet needed fresh engine components. One of the largest owners of the A350 flight, Cathay, had grounded its 48-plane ships and canceled lots of flights after a Zurich-bound aircraft was forced to turn back to Hong Kong on Monday.
The business claimed to have found” an engine aspect failure,” but it did not specify which one. This part was the first of its kind to experience such a loss on any A350 plane worldwide, according to the airport.
By Tuesday, Cathay claimed its executive team had located 15 plane with engine parts that needed repair and had been done. The remaining plane will not be in service until they have been approved for operation.
