‘Nonpartisan’ Voting Group’s Ads Dodge People Who Like NASCAR And ‘Duck Dynasty’

According to its website, the Voter Participation Center (VPC ) aims to “help members of the New American Majority register and vote.” This seemingly excludes those engaged in Duck Dynasty, John Wayne, Jimmy Buffett, and “modified Vehicles” — in other words, good conservatives. &nbsp,

On the surface, these voting registration work seem “non-partisan”, as the VPC says. (” Hey Virginia, register to vote”, reads one colorful, unassuming VPC ad. ) But as The Washington Free Beacon initially reported, the team’s Instagram ad data shows then. &nbsp,

The VPC has spent an estimated$ 926, 960 on 8, 244 voter registration ads within the last 90 days. The party avoids targeting Twitter users interested in things like Clint Eastwood, the Daytona 500, the PGA Tour, Jimmy Buffett,” Southwestern Living”, and Tom Clancy. Meanwhile, it targets users interested in things like” African-American literature”, “black history”, Goya Foods, and” Mexican word of the day”.

The VPC’s Twitter advertising metrics exclude popular conventional interests.

According to Pew Research, the majority of Azure ads were aired to people between the ages of 18 and 35 in the last 90 times. The team also targeted 57.4 percentage of advertising specifically to people, the more left-leaning of the two women among young people, and it targeted none to gentlemen, who skew liberal. &nbsp,

According to ad metrics, the VPC has spent an estimated total of more than$ 6 million on Facebook ads since 2018.

    A Democrat Turnout System

The VPC claims to strive toward a” New American Majority” comprised of “young folks, people of color and young people” — all populations likely to vote Democrat.

The party harvests” commercial and public information” to raise Democrat turnout, as The Federalist originally reported. People are directed to a Rock the Vote-run website when they click on its Facebook ads, which collects information to be shared with a large network of left-wing organizations. &nbsp,

Citizens who are good entitled but unregistered receive voter registration forms from the VPC. These membership efforts were about more than 272, 000 vote in the 2020 election, largely in bounce states.

Next month, the party started sending more than 20, 000 registration mail to citizens of many Oregon regions, according to OregonLive. The Clackamas County secretary warned the mail against making it appear “active electors may not be registered to vote,” which was” contain confusion and problem”

The team’s voter registration initiatives have drawn condemnation for being “imprecise, false, inefficient, and possibly illegal”, according to InfluenceWatch. &nbsp,

    Leftist Goals

The VPC started in 2003 as” Children’s Voices Women Vote”, according to InfluenceWatch. In 2011, it changed its name, furthering its efforts to create the” Rising American Electorate” or the election blocs some liberals hoped would result in an “emerging Democrat majority.” According to Linked In, Tom Lopach is the president and CEO of the VPC and Center for Voter Information ( CVI ). According to InfluenceWatch, he directed the parties ‘ common mail-in and absentee ballot initiatives in 2020. &nbsp,

A Democrat big PAC called Mind the Gap issued a letter that urged the VPC and CVI for defeat in 2020. Democratic voter registration that targets underrepresented groups is the most powerful strategy in a National year, according to the memo. Additionally, according to the memo, “voter registration is 2- to 5-fold more cost-effective than the tactics that campaigns does invest in” for generating more Democratic votes.

The team author for election integrity is Logan Washburn. He graduated from Hillsdale College, served as Christopher Rufo’s journal helper, and has bylines in The Wall Street Journal, The Tennessean, and The Daily Caller. Logan was born and raised in remote Michigan, but he is primarily from Central Oregon.
