September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day. It is a morning designated to highlight efforts being made to reduce the number of deaths that occur worldwide each year. This day of knowledge has the goal of” concentrating work on directing care to those who need it most, and remembering those affected by suicide.” The National Institutes of Health requests golden as a sign of solidarity from spectators of this day.  ,
” Too many Americans have lost their lives to suicide”, read Biden’s statement. ” Last year, almost 50, 000 American died by suicide, and in 2022, over 10 million seriously considered suicide. The death rate for soldiers was 50 % higher than that for everyone else, and in 2022, it was the next leading cause of death for young people between the ages of 10 to 14 and 25 to 34.  , Suicide is also a leading cause of parental death”.
Biden stressed the value of pursuing care and making it cheap. He expressed his desire to join more people in the country with high-quality and affordable treatment options and acknowledged the economic difficulties people face. He explained how the leadership is assisting in achieving this goal.
We know that access to treatment and help you save life, Biden said,” Though there is no one cause or remedy for death.” ” However, getting attention in a problems can be hard to get or afford.  , In 2021, less than half of all people with mental condition received the attention they needed. And nearly 70 % of children who seek mental health care are unable to find it.
Biden stated that” a significant component of my Unity Agenda is to improve the access to affordable, high-quality mental health care and improve our system, which will help solve many of the danger factors associated with suicide.” An important step in ensuring people have access to the mental health care they need is the law that my administration issued requires insurers to support mental health care the same way they do natural health care and to make adjustments if necessary studies show that health insurers are providing inadequate access to mental health care.

Biden came to a conclusion in an optimistic voice, promising to do everything in his power to improve the standard of mental healthcare provided by the nation. Additionally, he pledged to improve programs that are geared toward preventing suicide in order to hopefully save the lives of those in crisis in the future.
For all the lives lost and the lives still saved, Biden said,” We recommit to improving suicide prevention programs and putting affordable, accessible mental health care within reach of communities across our Nation.”
