US President Joe Biden‘s post about “doing 9/11” has stirred up a surprise on social media, with users poking fun at the 81-year-old commander-in-chief. After watching Vice President Kamala Harris taking on Donald Trump in Philadelphia, Biden mentioned that he would be observing the September 11 attacks the day after the upcoming political discussion.
In the video tape that has since gone viral, Biden said,” I’ll be doing 9/11 tomorrow”, which some interpreted as an unfortunate terminology given the context. He stated that he would be a part of events taking place all over New York and Pennsylvania to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the World Trade Center terrorist problems.
The White House announced that Biden and Harris did simultaneously respect the subjects of September 11 by visiting important shrines including Ground Zero in New York, the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
