Melania Trump questioned the official narrative of the assassination attempt on July 13, 2024, which almost led to the death of her father, Donald Trump, in a 34-second picture that was uploaded to X this afternoon.

” The attempt to end my father’s life was a terrible, troubling knowledge”, she said, gazing directly into the camera. ” Now, the silence around it feels heavy. I ca n’t help but wonder, why did n’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech? We need to find the truth, and there is undoubtedly more to this tale.

Thomas Matthew Crooks fired a number of pictures at the previous president in Butler Township, Pennsylvania during the assassination attempt. At least one picture struck Trump in his ears, another shot fatally struck Corey Comperatore, a retired fire chief. There were also various wounds.

Numerous security issues occurred that time, including the Secret Service’s failing to secure a local roof that gave Trump a direct line only 150 yards from where he was speaking. On July 13, Crooks climbed to the top of this dome, set up his weapons, and proceeded to fire at will. Prior to that, the authorities had spotted Crooks using a prism but somehow managed to ignore him. &nbsp,

Kimberly Cheatle, whom the Biden-Harris administration appointed to oversee Secret Service protection, at first steadfastly refused to resign:” Like every Secret Service agent, we do n’t shirk our responsibilities. I will continue on and be accountable to the company, to this committee, to the previous president, and to the National people”.

She was simply forced to leave after making a fatal presence before a nonpartisan legislative committee.

” You’re total of s**t now”! thundered Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S. C. ), who lambasted Cheatle for being” completely dishonest” about her level of cooperation. &nbsp,

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md. ) wrote that her conduct” today, you failed to answer basic questions regarding that stunning operational failure and reassure the American people that the Secret Service has learned its lessons and begun to correct its systemic mistakes and failures.”

Cheatle was largely unaffected by the Republicans ‘ admonition. She did n’t finally change her tune until Democratic pressure increased. &nbsp,

In light of recent events, she stated in her resignation notice that she had made the hard choice to step down as your director. ( Her heart was heavy, her brain, we suspect, was likely underweight. )

However, as Melania Trump noted in her message, it’s been around 50 times since the startling assassination attempt against her father, and some questions remain unanswered:

We do n’t know where, specifically, the security protocol broke down. &nbsp, All we know for sure is that it did. As far as we may tell, there’s been no real transparency from anyone in the area.

    1. How are challenges being handled jointly by the Secret Service and local law enforcement? It’s not at all evident that there are clear lines of communication.
    2. We do n’t know what — or who — motivated Thomas Crooks. Was he radicalized by Democrat advertising? Or was he merely a mentally ill egotist who watched the earth fire? People access to minimal data has become a reality.
    3. Was Donald Trump the single goal? This is tied to Crooks ‘ desire. It’s believed Crooks ‘ father tried to warn law enforcement, but it’s not clear whether they followed through on this advice.
    4. The Secret Service was acting but slowly, why? An elite team of professionals would be expected to secure the location and immediately aces the scene when there was a threat. But somehow, Crooks was able to visit the facility, left, returning with arms, level a tower, and fire several shots before the Secret Service reacted.
    5. Was this a one-off break in Secret Service protection? Even a once-in-a-zillion anomaly? Or, disturbingly, perhaps these failures happen all the time, but luckily, most events are relaxing. We can anticipate restrict countries like Iran and others to increase their activity and possibly attempt an assassination of their own if it turns out that our national security is more prone than we think.
    6. Should Republicans also have faith in the Secret Service? The Obama management weaponized the IRS to pin Republicans, the Biden-Harris leadership has weaponized the court to targeted Republicans. With this kind of precedence, can you really blame Republicans for looking side-eyed at the Secret Service? ( Especially if Secret Service agents were being promoted for DEI reasons rather than merit )?
