Kamala Harris has been criticized for being the most radical candidate that the Democrats have always nominated, but somehow that means something when CNN is raising questions about her extreme policy positions.

Simply, that tells you that something’s just not right about her.  ,
During a recent spread, CNN’s Erin Burnett highlighted how Harris’s 2019 position on key concerns was so far left it was hard to imagine her plans previously gaining major traction.  ,
Burnett opened the section by noting the discovery:” In 2019, in what K File found, she said she would reduce funding to ICE, writing quote,’ our american detention system is out of control, and I believe we must stop the unjust incarceration of thousands of individuals, families, and children.'” Harris also boasted that she was “one of the first senators to support a increases in ICE cash after President Trump was elected.” Then, of course, she’s trying to reinvent herself as being as strong on frontier safety.
Andrew Kaczynski’s research paints a more devastating picture of Harris’s record.  ,
As Kaczynski said during the segment, Harris’s comments to a 2019 ACLU quiz show just how serious her opinions are. She was attempting to align herself with Bernie Sanders. She was trying to get to the remaining of Elizabeth Warren”, Kaczynski explained. This is why Harris vowed to completely abolish expat detention and backed taxpayer-funded gender-transition therapies for imprisoned immigrants. She also endorsed that approach for national prisoners.

Kaczynski continued, noting that she also “pledged to slash immigration detention by 50 %, close all family and private facilities, and decrease funding for ICE, and… ending ICE detainers, with local law enforcement” . ,
Yet Burnett seemed taken away by how severe this sounded:” I mean, these are things that, you know, it would be hard to think that you would come up with tax revenue, sex transitions for, for incarcerated migrants”.
But Harris’s extreme positions did n’t stop at immigration. Kaczynski also said “yes” when pressed to say whether she would aid the national level’s decriminalization of drug possession. This is the same person who presently claims her laws have been shaped by” three years of successful management” in the Biden administration. Still, she refuses to understand where she stands on these previous jobs.
CNN reached out to the Harris campaign for comment, but predictably, the battle refused to answer any queries about the ACLU survey. Rather, they issued a vague declaration saying Harris’s roles have evolved over her time in office. But as Kaczynski pointed out,” we do n’t know” where she really stands today.

With Tuesday evening’s conversation, Kamala Harris did strive hard to divorce herself from the unsuccessful Biden-Harris leadership and her extreme positions. Clearly, even CNN realizes these are a problem for her.
