Poor idea, says Hollywood. Gun-possessed citizens are idiots. You are more likely to damage yourself than the villain.

” Leave it to a nice guy with a weapon to really screw things up”, says a officer on ABC’s” The Rookie”.

Democratic officials agree.

” A great man with a firearm will stop bad men with a firearm,” he says. It does n’t hold up”, smiles New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Today, I’m not a weapon people. I was raised among the leftist weapon enemies. I assumed Hollywood and “experts” were correct. &nbsp,

When I saw analyst John Lott’s guide,” More Artillery, Less Crime”, I rolled my eyes. However, now that I am aware of Lott’s level, I can see why. &nbsp,

” A few million times a month, people use guns defensively”, he says in my new film. ” When a human tries to stop one of these occasions, they’re largely successful”.

But FBI studies say self-defense with guns is unique. &nbsp,

” They’re simply missing a huge number of cases”, says Lott. He’s posted a list of cases the FBI ignored, where residents stopped shooters. &nbsp,

The Orlando Pulse bar capturing is on the FBI’s list. Forty-nine people were killed. &nbsp,

” One week afterwards”, says Lott,” there was a similar attack at a nightclub in South Carolina” .&nbsp,

But it, a civil killed the intruder.

” Also had 125 rounds of ammunition on him when he was stopped”! says Lott. &nbsp,

Apparently, the FBI missed that event, along with so many people.

When 17 people were killed at Parkland, Florida, that got plenty of media coverage.

Some people know that” just a few months later in Titusville, Florida, (at ) an intermediate school”, says Lott,” a man came up, started firing his weapon. Fortunately, a hot dog vendor with a concealed weapon was able to scar the victim and stop him before he could kill.

” Stepped in and saved a lot of women’s life”, said a local police officer.

&nbsp, But the FBI apparently missed that, to… &nbsp,

&nbsp, Lott’s record of ignored scenarios includes the history of Raul Mendez, who was at a celebration when a visitor opened fire.

Mendez perhaps saved the lives of a few individuals at that group.

I say to him,” The FBI records such incidents, but somehow they do n’t have any information about your case.”

They said,” They think it would go against the tale that they want to push,” Lott responded.

Stossel TV asked the FBI why they do n’t include self-defense cases like Mendez’. They responded that their information is not intended to cover all elements of active shooter situations. &nbsp, &nbsp,

To bad officials and the internet are unaware of this.

” It’d be wonderful if we could simply make all artillery disappear”, says Lott. ” But when you ban weapons, it’s generally the most law-abiding good people who obey. Every location in the world where all weapons and firearms are prohibited have seen death rates rise.

So-called experts like a psychiatrist featured on Detroit’s CBS station confidently say,” There have n’t &nbsp, been good guys with a gun who stop mass shootings. It’s the kind of thing you learn reading comic books” !&nbsp,

Mendez replies:” I was prepared, and it saved lives. There’s no humorous book history about that. Those are specifics. That’s what happened. I was it. I’m convinced there’s some more out there that go unknown”.
