I believe that many people had that perception. Trump was n’t at his best, but it was n’t all his fault. However, his planning and the point that he had already entered the lion’s den of discrimination were all that were on him. I’ve been making a point about Republicans agreeing to key or political debates with hostile, racially biased editors for years, especially in June when Trump and the GOP decided against it.  ,
Last night, Kamala Harris ‘ performance last night did n’t really pose much threat to Trump. She only had to show up and not be Joe Biden, so the club was reduced for her. Mission accomplished. She merely repurposed DNC talking points from recent New York Times and WaPo articles for the night. It was wonderfully brain-dead, but it was all she needed.  ,

The disturbance from editors David Muir and Linsey Davis, who were the most outrageously biased I’ve actually seen, was the true issue, and I’ve seen a lot of George Stephanopoulos do these things.  ,
David Muir is a vehement opponent of Trump, and Catherine wrote about it yesterday, and Davis was n’t any better last night. As our sister site Twitchy reported, it did n’t take Davis long to have a” Candy Crowley Moment“.
While, as my RedState partner Nick Arama wrote, Harris was permitted to lie through her teeth all day, Muir and Davis kept interjecting and fact-checking Trump.
It was frequently noted on social media that Trump was actually talking to three persons. That’s always the situation for the Republican in these MSM-hosted conversations though. It’s similar to going to an NBA game and complaining about all the large people on the jury. Trump should have been better ready for it, yes, but in my opinion, he should never have agreed to an ABC conversation.  ,
But, once he was there, he may have stopped Muir and Davis by outright rejecting their intervention and pointing out how improper their actions were. Otherwise, he let them get away with it all day long. Ron DeSantis was really good at using B. S. on moderators in the primary debates, but hard-core Trump supporters wo n’t like this.  ,
Trump had a lot of options to waste next day, but once more, they were the ones that he missed out on earlier this summer. Or, at the very least, click for a better installation. This is a quote from an essay I wrote when I was in the era:

Trump, after all, just finished a primary season where he told his rivals and the debates to leave themselves ( does anyone still say that? )? He may have pushed for more favorable argument conditions because the party is then his. Presently, there are a variety of media sources that can be used to promote themselves. That’s extra real where Donald Trump is concerned. Wherever he is, devices will appear. He could have easily pressed for a venue and moderators who were n’t experienced Democrats ‘ water carriers.  ,
Thanks to previous evening’s farce, the Harris strategy is clamoring for another discussion. Maybe Trump and his supporters can fight to set up the following game so they do n’t start after the 8-ball if they want to.  ,
