The White House claimed on Thursday that Joe Biden‘s decision to wear a Trump helmet on Wednesday at a Pennsylvania fire station was an attempt to bring “unity” between Republicans and Democrats.
Following a Sept. 11 memorial services on Wednesday, the traveling press was not permitted to attend the reception and had not had the opportunity to witness the account first.
When asked about the trade, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said to reporters that” the leader made unexpected remarks about republican unity.” ” That’s what he was talking about, and he talked about it in the moment of Sept. 11, that’s what we experienced. And he claimed that we needed to return to that country’s nonpartisan spirit.
” He offered a political hat to a gentleman who was wearing a Trump hat”, she continued. ” He was wearing a vehicle helmet, and he offered it to him as a sign, and in return, the person said that, in the same soul, the president should put on his Trump helmet. The senator did, very quickly, and that’s what happens. The president actually had a back-and-forth about recalling a moment in time from the tragic incident that day and how the nation do unite.
After briefly wearing it, Jean-Pierre after declined to say what Biden did with the Trump helmet.
When asked if the leader kept it as a surprise for a White House worker, she joked,” Even it’s on my office right now.” ” I do n’t know”.
At the Shanksville function, several people donned patriotic attire in support of former US president Donald Trump.

On at least one event, the chairman was spotted with a group of children, many of whom were sporting Trump equipment.
