Kate Middleton just announced the end of her cancer treatment, and on Tuesday she relinquished her royal responsibilities. The Princess of Wales met with staff members of the Royal Foundation Centre for First Childhood at Windsor Castle, and she discussed her battle for the first years.
The Early Times battle, according to the Royal Foundation, aims to create a “nurturing world” for children during their early years.
Prince William was traveling to meet special forces men, so he missed the appointment.
Middleton announced that she had finished her treatment in a video released on September 9. The Princess of Wales said,” As the summer comes to an end, I may tell you what a relief it is to finally finish my treatment care.” She even mentioned how her family has been “incredibly hard” the past nine months.
Middleton stated that she was eager to return to work and to take on as many people duties as she could in the upcoming month.
Middleton, who revealed her cancer diagnosis in March, described the treatment method as” complex, terrible, and unstable”. The Princess of Wales said that although she had finished treatment, her healing journey may remain. But, she continued,” I am looking forward to being back at work and taking on a few more people engagements in the upcoming month when I can.”
Middleton underwent surgery in January, but she has not revealed the type of tumor she had. She made her first public appearance since receiving a treatment at the June Trooping the Colour festival, and she also attended Wimbledon in July.
