Democrats are leaning heavily toward Tim Walz’s” coach” and “schoolteacher” personas, which would make them more relevant and less extreme than their real selves.
In a speech last week at a Human Rights Campaign meal, Tim Walz praised his time as a” social research professor and high school football coach” and claimed to have spent” a lot of times” teaching. Yet in the future breath, he praised Gay “allyship” and declared,” We must be the land that leads on” gay and transgender right.”
They used the same strategy during Walz ‘s , speech , at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago last month. Teachers union leaders played up that section of his profile on the convention floor when former students showed up to watch, and Walz himself addressed a crowd with evidence that read” Coach Walz,” and he addressed the audience.
Democrats and their media stooges are spinning away, but American voters should n’t be fooled by the routine. As a past trainer and the latest director of the Oklahoma State Department of Education, I can tell you that throughout my career, I have come across many teachers like Walz. If this person comes even close to becoming vice president, every family in the nation should be on high notice. He is when anti-parent as they come.  ,  ,
Just glance at his history. Walz’s governor has, of course, always been about putting teachers organizations and dramatic political ideas over parents ‘ right and students ‘ well-being.  ,
He supports separating children from their parents who wo n’t let them transition while they’re still minors. He backed a legislation that accomplished that. The bill in question made Minnesota a” sanctuary” for child” sex changes” (so called ) — i. e., a place for children to run away to and seek hormone treatments and surgeries. It blocked Minnesota judges and officials from complying with any treatment calls, extraditions, detention, or summons that would get in the way of the methods.
And it’s so intense that even the corporate press tried to run include for him,  , but to no cost. Facts are very obstinate, and Walz supports preventing your teenager from moving to your house before he is old enough to cast a ballot. That’s not only poor policy, it’s terrible.  ,
And while he was letting Minneapolis fire in 2020 without the National Guard’s support, Walz was likewise bidding to lock down schools, and putting children years in their training.  ,
What was the outcome of all this union favoring and promoting specific interests? Tragic test results. According to a , New York Post research, reading and math scores fell considerably under Walz, while scholar delinquency skyrocketed.  ,
While Walz’s department of education was implementing a curriculum that was more appropriate for a democratic political activist than a pupil, making sure Minnesota’s pupils were fluent in issues like reading and math or just showing up to school. He promoted adding , cultural studies , ( code for critical race theory ) needs to K-12 knowledge. He proudly , supported , and signed legislation to prevent kids and local school board from removing sexual elements from university library.
Obviously, he also has a known background of , fighting school choice programs, those, after all, would include empowered parents to settle their kids out of his extreme indoctrination agenda. He appointed the board of education people, which lately required that faculty embrace and spread extreme female philosophy.
Tim Walz is the kind of trainer who believes that your kids really belong to the neighborhood school district, which is the key to all of this. In his case”, anti-parent “is n’t just an adjective, it’s a word.
Anti-parents like him believe that parents may make the decisions regarding what their children learn, how they learn it, and what they ought to think about it. They think that what to pack for their dinners, if anything, is the only thing you should have control over as a family. Because anti-parents — whether teachers, union bosses, or politicians — do n’t think you’re qualified to make those decisions.  ,
In Oklahoma, we’ve taken the precise same technique, and both our kids and our institutions are reaping the benefits. We are showing , up to work every day with the faith that we work , for , families and we answer , to , kids.  ,
We’ve managed the application of a comprehensive scholarship program for students who choose to attend public schools and a pro-active system of state-of-the-art charter schools. We firmly believe that training should be the focus of all classrooms, no education, but we eliminated topics like critical race theory and pornographic materials and reduced reading and math. We recruit top talent through merit-paying positions and signing bonuses rather than by cooking to organizations.  ,
Tulsa and Oklahoma City, our two biggest school districts, are presently working with us rather than against us to utilize these new strategies. More than one hundred universities have been taken off a list of failing schools within the first year of these changes. This is just the start of the changes that will be made.
This is the kind of freedom-focused, parent-driven system that we can replicate on a national scale, but we wo n’t do it with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz making the decisions. We need Donald Trump and J. D. Vance to acquire knowledge freedom globally.
In this election, families have a choice: they can choose to be in the pilot’s seat of their children’s schooling, or they can be shoved in the trunk. That’s not an understatement by any means, and Walz’s history proves it.  ,
