A brand-new report from the Foundation for Government Accountability, which was exclusively provided to The Federalist, addresses the integrity flaws in the US election system and urges Congress to pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility ( SAVE ) Act and states to clean up their voter rolls.  ,
In the nearly four years that Presidents Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been in power, the problems have only grown by the extraordinary 10 million contacts with illegal creatures. The report numbers under the government’s global policies have raised natural concerns about noncitizens showing up on voters rolls and some, unfortunately, voting in November’s election.  ,
” There are at least 25 million non-citizens in the country according to the Census Bureau and no federal enforcement mechanism to ensure their names do n’t appear on the voters rolls” , , Paige Terryberry, senior research fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability, told The Federalist. ” Right then, the Biden-Harris management is using security agencies, DMVs, People cover, healthercare. state and more to register citizens, and they are n’t verifying citizen at these places. The SAVE Act is the only thing that you fix this issue before the election, but claims can also take action.
‘ Vote-Buying Scheme ‘

The Left’s large GOTV campaign, as The Federalist has well-reported, is attracting noncitizens into its voter collection database. At the national levels, the point of entry is through taxpayer-funded security applications.  ,

The U. S. Department of Agriculture has sought to “remove eligibility restrictions” on food stamp programs “based on immigration status” . ,
The FGA report notes that even though Medicaid candidates are required to check their citizenship, the current administration earlier prohibited states from double-checking membership status.  ,
Terryberry asserts the “vote-buying system” involves many national programs, including” Social Security workplaces, national parks, public housing authorities, people colleges, and anyone attending in Healthcare. gov”.
” Faulty Foundation” is a phrase.
While “experts” in the corporate media have denigrated any estimates of the illegal immigrant population that fall short of their” 11 million” target, a Yale study found that the actual figure was twice the accepted estimate several years ago. The Ivy League school’s press release from 2018 stated that the number of undocumented immigrants who are residing in the United States is “quite stable and largely unquestioned.” S”.
The actual number of undocumented immigrants living in the country is much larger than that, perhaps twice as many, and has been underestimated for decades, according to a paper by three Yale-affiliated researchers, which suggests that all the perceptions and arguments based on that number may have a faulty foundation.  ,
The undocumented population has only increased as a result of Biden-Harris ‘ borderless policies. So does the FGA report claim that the opportunity for noncitizens to cast ballots exists.  ,
There is nothing here, according to Democrats and their supporters in the accompanying media. The facts do not support their optimistic view on the possible and actual instances of noncitizens casting ballots in American elections. Yes, voting in presidential and congressional elections is illegal for foreigners. However, accountability is nothing more than an honor system. Check a box attesting citizenship. But who checks on the box checkers?  ,
According to the FGA report, states are required to “accept and use” the U.S. Election Assistance Commission ( EEC ) voter registration form. That’s been a cause for controversy. The 1993 ov/crt/national-voter-registration-act-1993-nvra”>National Voter Registration Act mandates that states register voters with local government agencies.  ,
” Since most states issue driver’s licenses to non-citizens, and some issue them to illegal aliens, there is concern that non-citizens are being automatically registered to vote when they are issued a license”, the FGA report states. At the state level,” Security measures should be taken to make sure this does n’t occur.”

First, Terryberry asserts, states must clean up their dirty voter rolls. The state’s 2021 removal of more than 200, 000 names from the state voter registration database is noted in the report, but it required some tense court battles to get there. Additionally, according to a lawsuit, the Badger State’s Department of Transportation wo n’t provide foreign election records for verification purposes. Officials from the electoral commission acknowledge that the voter rolls do not include citizens. How many is an open question.  ,
The report urges the use of databases like E-Verify and the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlement system used by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. States could also employ data sharing agreements.
” Electoral integrity requires having clean voter rolls. The gears of the American election system were sand in the sand after dirty rolls. The entire system get compromised, complicated, and corrupted the second we allow ineligible voters to cast ballots”, Terryberry told The Federalist. ” Cleaning the rolls makes it more likely we have a well-functioning, secure election” . ,
An immediate obligation
But the more immediate line of defense, the FGA report argues, is passage of the SAVE Act. The Republican-controlled House did just that earlier this summer, with very little support from Democrats. The Senate, which was led by Democrats, was content to watch it slowly pass away in the upper house. Now, funding the government is on the line — just in time for the election.  ,
” Congress has an immediate obligation to do two things: responsibly fund the federal government, and ensure the security of our elections”, Speaker Mike Johnson said in a statement.
” Because we owe this to our constituents, we will move forward on Wednesday with a vote on the 6-month CR with the , SAVE Act attached”, he added. I urge all of my coworkers to do what the country’s vast majority of citizens deserved and rightfully requires: stop non-American citizens from casting ballots in American elections.
