As George Orwell might suggest, Rashida Tlaib is double-plus unassailable: she is not only a woman but a Muslim Arab. That means that anyone who dares to criticize someone who belongs to one or more of the public’s protected victim organizations will automatically react. That’s right: claims of racism, sexism, and” Islamophobia”, plus needs for his fire and public humiliation. The communist attack dogs, however, went easy this week on political cartoonist Henry Payne: all he got were the prejudice and” Islamophobia” costs.  ,

As of this writing on Tuesday evening, Payne is also listed as the Detroit News ‘ “auto columnist”, and described as” the Detroit News car writer, a syndicated journal artist, and radio number”. He produced the film making fun of Tlaib, but, not for the Detroit News, but for National Review, as the News ‘ editorial page editor, Nolan Finley, was anxious to tell the world. Straight after noon on Friday, Finley wrote,” This comic did not run on a Detroit News system. It was in the National Review. It was distributed by a consortium with which we are not associated.  ,
That was evidently inadequate sniveling, but Finley weighed in suddenly just under two hours later, writing,” The newspaper cartoon depicting Rep. Rashida Tlaib was distributed by @AndrewsMcMeelSyndicate. The @DetroitNews chose not to run it because it was never involved with its production or distribution. The artist works for The News in a various position, as an automobile critic” . ,
What made Finley so enthralling was really pretty harmless in terms of social pictures. Tlaib is seen looking over the burning damage of her voicemail while Payne’s drawing shows her and thinking:” Odd. My voicemail only exploded”.
Abraham Aiyash, a Democrat ( what did you think? ) who is now the House of Representatives ‘ majority leader, was furious and allegedly unaware that Payne had no directed the Detroit News ‘ animation. Aiyash wrote,” Shame on the @detroitnews for allowing this racist, racist horrible animation on their program. Who is denying this should be watchful. And therefore acknowledge the various standards held by Arab and Muslim politicians.

People, recognizing where the film had really run, demanded the common groveling apologies. Failed Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-Fire Alarm ) wrote,” Anti-Arab bigotry &, Islamophobia must not be allowed to be normalized. @RashidaTlaib should be promptly apologized to by Henry Payne and the National Review for this unpleasant comic. Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud even posted the animation on X and commented,” Absolutely ugly. Anti-Arab hatred &, Islamophobia have become adjusted in our media. The National Review ran this hazardous animation of @RashidaTlaib. This wastes was created by Henry Payne with the @detroitnews. At what point does people call this out” ? ,
Tlaib was glad, responding to Hammoud,” Bless you, Mayor @AHammoudMI, for speaking up. Our country is already in a lot of problems right then. Then she resorted to the public’s oft-used weapons of equating conversation it dislikes with assault:” This racism may inspire more hate + violence against our Egyptian &, Muslim communities, and it makes everyone less safe. It’s terrible that the internet continues to adjust this racism” . ,

The anger spread all over the world. Rashida Tlaib, the president of the United States, condemned a political cartoon that the National Review published on Sunday, calling it prejudiced and anti-Islam. Tlaib” said the film would inspire more hate and violence against Arab and Muslim communities,” according to the Muslim paper.

Unfortunately, around the same time, the FBI’s love crime figures came out, showing that there is hardly any hate and violence against Arab and Muslim communities. All over the country, we are seeing Israeli students and supporters of Israel denounced, menaced, and literally attacked. Such assaults against Muslims are not, and never really be.
However, the leftist establishment has gotten into the habit of referring to “antisemitism and Islamophobia” as if they were comparative, and in the hubbub over the Tlaib film, we see how claims of “racism” and” Islamophobia” are weaponized against those who oppose terrorism large murder and Sharia oppression of women.  ,
There is nothing “racist” or” Islamophobic” about Henry Payne’s film. It does n’t mention Tlaib’s race or her religion. It only makes fun of her because of her defiant and available support of the jihad against Israel, which links her to jihad terror groups like Hizballah. For Tlaib and others like her, but, charging “racism” and” Islamophobia” is the all-purpose reply to any condemnation, no matter how slight that criticism may be. And why not? It usually works.
