The shooter is accused of stalking Donald Trump for 12 hours at his Florida golf course and wanting to kill him in exchange for an assassination attempt and was charged on Wednesday in the United States.
Ryan Wesley Routh had written in a text to the world that he wanted to kill the former US president.
Lawyers claim he wrote in a handwritten note about his plans to kill Trump in a “finished work” and offered$ 150, 000 to anyone who could “finish the job” weeks prior to his September 15 imprisonment. This statement was discovered in a box that Routh allegedly left at the residence of an unknown witness before being arrested.
He was initially charged with two federal firearms violations, but he has since been charged with five works, which shows how thoroughly the Justice Department considered his assassination plans.
Specialists claim that while the former senator was playing, he allegedly aimed a shotgun through the trees at Trump’s West Palm Beach golf lessons.
In his vehicle, Routh had a handwritten list of locations where Trump had appeared or was scheduled to be in August, September, and October.
A part of Trump’s Secret Service information noticed a partially obscured experience and a rifle barrel peeking through the golf training gate, which was close to where Trump was playing, and prevented the possible shooting.
If found guilty, the conspiracy to attack a political member could lead to a life sentence. Additionally, the prosecution covers the two first weapon acts he faced last week as well as assaulting a federal officer and possessing a rifle in connection with a violent crime.
