” Appearance, Bill, if this is about reliving the ‘ 60s, you can forget about it, friend. The motion is dying”.
” Yes, of course! Hence the name: action. It moves a selected range, then it stops, you see? A trend is called because it always circles in your experience. You tried to kill me, you child of a b***h, so delightful to the revolution”.

Ah, that wonderful slice of speech from the typical American picture,” Under Siege”. ( I look to Steven Seagal movies for their pearls of philosophical wisdom, like so many of you. ) Actor Tommy Lee Jones ( who, ironically, was college neighbors with potential VP Al Gore ) feigns being a radical revolution to reassure government officials about his true purposes in the picture above. As I’m sure you know, Steven Seagal shows are renowned for their sophisticated plots and subtly intellectual references, and I’d love to destroy all the twists and turns.  ,
Oh, moreover: Playboy Playmate Erika Eleniak plays a Playboy Playmate. ( And I gotta say, she was super-believable in that role. )
But this piece of speech raises a powerful question: When does a movements become a trend? And what does MAGA’s potential keep?
Both revolutions and actions have been proven to be effective cultural change tools. A motion and/or trend is the quickest way to change the status quo if you want to change it. The distinction between the two frequently has a narrow reach.  ,
Movements are typically intended to correct a political flaw while preserving the majority of the infrastructure. This is done by preserving what’s good and changing what’s bad. Revolutions have loftier, more far-reaching interests, seeking to reform world from top to bottom. You’re never just attempting to change the ancient infrastructure, you’re tearing it down entirely, building something totally new.

Because uprisings have such far-reaching passions, rebels feel entitled to apply far-reaching tactics. A movement relies on advertising, PR, and coercion to make a stage, a revolution uses a place to set heads on a rise. Revolutions are associated with political and social force, and killings and revolutions are associated with killings.
What, therefore, will be the prospect of MAGA?
Right then, MAGA is still a action. Most of MAGA’s plan items have been popular GOP policy positions since the 1960s, despite all the Republican controversy surrounding “draining the marsh” and all the Liberals ‘ constant blathering about Trump being an “existential threat to politics.” Tonally, Trump adopts the image of a wild-eyed revolution, but policy-wise, the MAGA plan is solidly within the traditional tent.
You may even argue that NO ONE considered any of the three men before they ran for president before they began to run for president, starting with John McCain in 2008, Mitt Romney in 2012, and Donald Trump in 2016 through 2024. Their reputation merely changed after the liberal internet spits and chews them up.
Hardcore conservatives, in any case, are n’t really calling for a true conservative revolution. I mean, certain, we had n’t reject a chance to set our government’s feet on a more honorable way, but for the most part, we’re content with just keeping the liberals out of energy and slowing the never-ending invasion of Big Government. That would be advantageous!

Anything less than that is the cherry on top.
Does this imply that MAGA is a motion and not a trend?
Not so hard: MAGA will be a rebellion. That’s our best death. But it wo n’t be because of us.
The irony of it all will be captivating when futuristic researchers write our era’s tombstone. The Democrats changed the rules of the game because they were so persuaded that Donald Trump and, consequently, MAGA citizens, were threats to their authority.  ,
They treated Trump separately from each previous member. They organized the media to confront him instantly and lose the appearance of fairness. He was taken off social advertising. He was frightened by phony legal issues, which was his first legitimate maneuver in American political history. They attempted to confine him. They scratched their a**es while Trump was almost assassinated — regularly. When the current leader was shellacked during a conversation, they changed the political contenders. They also altered the ballot procedures, solely to benefit Trump’s opposition.
MAGA was a social movement that sparked a trend, but the Democrats led the rebellion. They responded to MAGA by going nuclear, entirely outside the characteristics of fairness. And now, whatever happens in 2024 election, the MAGA faithful wo n’t forget the Left Tiananmen Square-ing them.

We’re a distinct motion now than we were before.
The Democratic Party does n’t realize it yet, but they just planted the seeds of their own destruction. That, later, we ALL enjoy what we sow.
