When he met with general assistant Muhammad Yunus, the White House announced on Wednesday that US President Joe Biden had promised to continue supporting Bangladesh as it pursues its fresh reform agenda.
On Tuesday, Biden and Yunus had a unique one-on-one meet outside of the UNGA in New York. When Yunus learned about the students ‘ struggles against what he thought was the previous government’s tyranny, they gave their lives to give the chance to rebuild Bangladesh. Yunus emphasized that US assistance may be required for his government’s success in reestablishing the nation. Biden said if the kids could compromise so much for their land, the US, to, should do more.
