Secret Service denies ‘security lapse’ around Obama, labels TMZ report ‘inaccurate’

The US Secret Service has refuted says of a” security slip” in former President Barack Obama‘s protecting information during an event in Los Angeles next weekend, labelling the accounts as “inaccurate”, according to Newsweek.
A security guard who was reportedly able to approach the SUV carrying the previous leader without being interfering with Secret Service agents at an event Obama was attending on Saturday night claimed he was able to do so.
The watch, who remained private, told TMZ that two officials were standing away from the vehicle in an alley, and he saw Obama inside the Car using a computer. He added that the incident, which he called a” security fall,” was because he was armed at the time and rapidly backed away when he recognized the former president.
But, in a speech to Newsweek on Wednesday, a Secret Service director disputed the officer’s account. No Secret Service agents were present in the car at the time the alleged incident occurred, according to the director, adding that TMZ only took the photo when Obama left and not at the time of the incident.
Despite Newsweek’s insistence that the safety guard’s claims, Secret Service agents later questioned him about his qualifications and concealed weapon force.
The statement of a possible safety violation comes as the Secret Service faces growing scrutiny over its techniques, following an assassination attempt at former President Donald Trump‘s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July, where Trump’s neck was grazed, and one participant was killed.
The Secret Service confirmed in a distinct creation that it is looking into allegations that an active-duty representative sexually assaulted a staff member of Vice President Kamala Harris recently in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Secret Service maintains that the protection around former US President Obama in Los Angeles was alive and that any claims of a violation are unfounded as the company continues to face significant problems.
