On Monday, hundreds of thousands of Verizon Cellular consumers reported disruptions to the company’s network across the country. Some users claimed they were restricted to using SOS setting and could not get the cellular system.
According to DownDetector’s site, over 100, 000 Verizon failure studies had been submitted as of 10: 11 a. m. on Monday. The lack of cellular phone service was the subject of the majority of the reports from Monday’s failure. According to CBS News, Verizon customers all over the country complained that their phones had only the Alert setting and no other features. SOS mode is activated when a phone ca n’t connect to the user’s cellular network, according to a support page on Apple .com. SOS mode also allows phones to create emergency calls, such as 911, even though the phone may create calls like ordinary in SOS mode.
