Liz Cheney, a former Republican member, has backed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Cheney, after a fervent critic of Harris, is set to battle with her this Thursday, marking a major change in her social position.
This support is particularly significant given that Cheney’s parents, former Vice President Dick Cheney, has even aligned himself with Harris. Prior to this, Cheney had long been a steadfast critique of “radially progressive” Kamala Harris and had long criticized her.
Previous President Donald Trump seized upon this unexpected support, dismissing it as “irrelevant” while mocking Cheney’s past views.
Sharing a video compilation of Cheney’s past accusations of Harris, Trump said,” Has Liz Cheney, one of the lazier people in politics, always looked at the horrible claims she’s made about Lyin ‘ Kamala Harris?
