    Gas prices: Increase at the pumps once again to start the workweek

    The typical price for a gallon of regular gasoline increased to$ 3.203 on Monday, which is up from the previous increase. This was a little increase from Sunday’s value of$ 3.201. Nevertheless, gas prices are more expensive than a week ago, when standard gasoline expense$ 3.174. Prices are only slightly lower than they were a fortnight ago, when a gallon of regular gasoline price individuals in the nation$ 3.217.

    Delaware

    On Monday, oil prices in Delaware continued to decline. A gallon of regular gas in the state now costs$ 3.187, a drop from Sunday’s price of$ 3.19. Petrol prices in the First State have cooled a little after a few days of strong increases next week. Regular gas costs less than a gallon of gas, which was$ 3.202 last week. However, gas prices are higher than a month ago, when a gallon of regular gas was only$ 3.083.

    Virginia

    On Monday, Virginia’s typical cost for a quart of regular gas decreased to$ 3.131. This price dropped slightly from$ 3.135 on Sunday to$ 3.15. A week ago, oil was less expensive in Virginia, with ordinary oil costing$ 3.046 per gallon. Similar prices can be found for ordinary gas from a fortnight before, when drivers in Virginia pay$ 3.062 per gallon.

    Maryland

    On Monday, gas prices in Maryland decreased as the average gallon of regular gas price decreased by$ 3. 239. When the price of regular gasoline reached$ 3.241 per gallon over the weekend, this was a minor decrease. Petrol prices in the state are still significantly higher than they were a week ago, when drivers were paying$ 3.234 per gallon. Filling up in Maryland is also more expensive now than it was a month before, when normal gas cost$ 3.095 per gallon.

    Washington, D. C.

    Gas prices in Washington, D. C., increased on Monday, with the city’s average for a gallon of regular gas climbing to $3.312 – two cents higher than the end of last week. This was slightly more expensive than a week ago when regular gas was $3.302 per gallon in the nation’s capital. Despite Monday’s small increase, gas prices have dropped in the nation’s capital from a month ago, when regular gas was $3.43 per gallon.

    Georgia

    Georgia continued to have the lowest gas prices in the nation on Monday, with a gallon of regular gas currently costing drivers in the state$ 2.703. When ordinary gas cost$ 2708 per gallon over the weekend, this was a little decrease. Prices for a gallon of regular gasoline on Monday are also less expensive than they were a week ago, when a gallon of gas was$ 2.724. Oil prices on Monday were likewise significantly lower than they were a fortnight ago, when a gallon of regular gasoline in the position cost$ 2.98 per gallon.

    California

    On the flip side, California is the state with the most expensive gas prices in the nation, coming in at$ 4.676 per gallon. This was an increase from Sunday’s sales of$ 4.674 per gallon for regular gas. A week ago, owners in California paid$ 4.678 per gallon for regular gasoline. These prices are lower than they were a month earlier in the Golden State, when a gallon of regular gasoline expense$ 4.769.
