It quotes an anonymous” journalist” who explains,” It’s a tale of two cities. It’s almost like it’s the one cent and the 99 percentage”. Yeah, no kidding.  ,
The Intelligencer describes the Times as the” Amazon of legacy media — an everything store for blue-state America’s information needs ( and more )” . ,
” They’ve got Wordle and all the journalism”, says Hamish McKenzie. The media is becoming the “megalith,” the giant in the room, that cannot be stopped, because “almost all the expertise and value of journalism are sucked up.” ” Journalism”? Best.  ,

” They sit on 10 million paid ]subscriptions ] that’s unlikely to dwindle. That’s only a very strong base to run from”, notes one adversary editor-in-chief. Former CNN director Jeff Zucker says,” They figured it out second: how to make a dying off meals and games that could support the rest of their journalism.” It’s gotten to the point that, according to one measure, the Times then employs some 7 percent of newspaper reporters globally. ” When additional people are doing something better, they hire their persons apart”, says a digital media professional.
It’s difficult to imagine anyone catching up with the Times best nowadays because it is so far away. ” There’s a dialogue that comes up all the time with folks starting or working in literary enterprises, which is,’ What’s going to get our Wordle?'” says Bari Weiss. And is that something everyone else can accomplish? ” Not to get on the Times, but every answer to victory the n’t be,’ This level to the Times,'” says another advertising professional. ” You’re not going to be able to replicate the Times ‘ achievement”. According to NeimanLab, the NYT made over$ 1 BILLION from digital subscriptions in 2023 alone:  ,
The Times added 300, 000 fresh digital-only members in the last decades of 2023, more than it added in any quarter for the past year. The Times then generates more than twice as much money from online subscriptions as it does from printing subscriptions. In 2023, online subscription revenues totaled$ 1.09 billion.
Those figures are amazing. Millions of Americans reportedly pay a monthly fee for Wordle with a part of misinformation. Nevertheless, we have this from The Atlantic:  ,
This past February, viewership of the 10 largest liberal sites was down 40 percent compared with the same quarter in 2020, according to The Righting, a publication that uses regular data from Comscore—essentially the Nielsen ratings of the internet—to record right-wing media. ( The most recent month with Comscore data is February. ) Some of the bigger brands in the field have been pummeled the hardest: The Daily Caller lost 57 percent of its market, Drudge Report, the grandfather of liberal formation, was down 81 percent, and The Federalist, founded only over a decade ago, lost a remarkable 91 percentage.
Comscore or any other ranking system has a lot of uncertainty in my opinion, primarily because they do n’t have access to our internal metrics, which adds to the amount of guesswork involved. There is no denying that liberal media has been hampered, in large part because of fact-checks that media power brokers and social media platforms that censor our content. But there’s some good news in all of this.  ,
