American faith in the internet is in decline, and the hacktivist” journalists” who have spent years supporting the trend are not doing well.
On Tuesday, former CNN political reporter Chris Cillizza lamented studies published in a recent Gallup poll that show , Americans ‘ , total trust in “mass advertising” has been in decline for decades. The research indicated that in 2024, only 12 percent of Republicans, 27 percent of independents, and 54 percent of Democrats” claim they have a tremendous deal or good amount of trust in the media” to report the news “fully, exactly, and very”.
Ultimately, in 2024, 36 percent of respondents said they have” no faith at all” in advertising, while 33 percent expressed having” not very much” trust and confidence.
” Devastating. And a major issue for a prosperous democracy, Cillizza blasted on X alongside a picture of the Gallup research results. Additionally, Clinton stated monday that he thinks the “60 Minutes” discussion, which reportedly distorted its sit-down meeting with Kamala Harris, is “dumb.”
Cillizza’s theatrical performance perhaps sit well with his legacy media groups. But for someone who’s been paying attention to the previous generation of media coverage, it’s all dust and cameras.
When talking heads like Cillizza assert that Americans ‘ waning faith is “devastating” for “democracy,” what they’re actually advocating is that they fear the press will no longer be able to manage the information the general public is given and how it is presented.
These self-professed “news” stores have dominated the data sphere for years, losing little to the traditional and independent media or to free speech platforms like X. They frame almost every major media account from a left-wing perspective, eventually advancing the Democrat Party plan.
While Cillizza understandably did not discuss how this dynamic has affected Americans ‘ lack of confidence in the sector in his Tuesday post on X, Norah O’Donnell from CBS News unveiled a clear illustration of why corporate media is no longer able to provide objective, impartial information.
During the beginning of her Monday night system, O’Donnell provided a description of Harris and Donald Trump’s subsequent 2024 presidential battle action. O’Donnell and her new wacky sidekick Liz Cheney, who are portrayed as left-wing activists, gave a gloomy account of Harris ‘ wild performance with her new wacky companion in a typical left-wing activist way, to persuade “disaffected Republican voters” to support her flailing election.
O’Donnell characterized Trump’s plan activities as such after learning that Cheney that time called Harris” a dependable adult.”
As for former President Donald Trump, he was up in North Carolina — suddenly, pushing false promises about FEMA and refugees. That’s after he staged a campaign prank at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s over the weekend, slinging a pure attack at Harris, engaging in sexual locker room talk about the later golfing legend Arnold Palmer, and throwing a campaign ad at him.
Recall that O’Donnell was one of two “moderators” hand-picked by CBS News to pander to Tim Walz during the 2024 vice-presidential debate. Any objective observer who watched the Oct. 1 spectacle could see that helping Walz was their top priority over helping him, not impartiality.
What Americans encountered during the debate and in recent years is not a true-critique industry but Democrat activism. These so-called” journalists” have used the First Amendment’s right to a free press to advance the very ideology that seeks to undermine that right and others that are documented in the Constitution.
Contrary to Cillizza’s assessment, Americans ‘ skepticism and lack of confidence in our current media are n’t “devastating” for the republic, they’re necessary for its very survival.
When the main goal of the media is to advance the interests of the state, Western civilization cannot function. A real press that is dedicated to telling the people the unadulterated truth ensures accountability in both government and society.
Cillizza and his followers can sling off obscene tweets about the decline in media trust until the cows return home. The people have no right to believe them to be the left-wing propagandists they are until they start acting the way our founders intended. Failure to do so only leads to the more than half of our republic’s remainings being collapsed more quickly.
