Does anyone recall David French? He previously contributed to the National Review. When they wrote twin content sneering that poor white areas “deserved to die,” that whatever misery they endure is entirely their own problem, and that the obvious solution to their problems is simply renting a U-Haul and moving to a better job business, he performed one of the most renowned acts of skilled self-immolation.

It’s one point to not like Trump. It’s quite another to parody the millions of his supporters in a way that would generate Keith Olbermann blush. Still, I suppose it’s one way to end a career as a” conservative” journalist. Shortly after, both French and Williamson abruptly abandoned the express train and never heard from afterwards.
But I’ll admit that it piqued my jaded attention when I read an article from French that day that was” Four Lessons From Nine Decades of Being” Not Trump.” The content should have been my first thought because the RealClearPolitics site immediately removed it after posting it. But his article starts off with some bait, teasing that “it can be hard to admit when ]he’s ] wrong” and that the truth “reflected poorly on ]his ] judgment”.
But, like a fool, I thought that even here was a Never Trumper who had learned the significance of modesty and peace. I erred by reading the entire content without warning. And that reflected badly on MY wisdom. I mistook offal for meat after seeing it.  ,
French makes it clear that he has no intention of always admitting that his earlier racist opinions of Trump supporters may have been inaccurate. The “lessons” he claims to have learned is that we Trump supporters are even more terrible, more brainwashed, and more cowardly than he would have dared to dream.  ,
The post is a text illustration of what psychology refer to as forecast, to be honest. French has been hating and mocking us since 2016 and has since. His article attempts to button that hatred on us, but it’s unoriginal and awkward. At least Biden did n’t waste the time writing this article and just called it “garbage” instead.

To quote Carmine Falcone, you always fear what you do n’t understand. Always have Trump supporters understood what motivates them. So they are afraid of us. And that’s on them. This late in the game, if you do n’t know us, that’s because you do n’t want to know us. There is no blindfold but powerful as that of condescension.
What encouraged the Not Trumpers? From what I can identify, they break down almost into the following types:
RINOs
I’m thinking Paul Ryan and John Boehner, Asa Hutchinson and Michael Steele, Mitt Romney and Jeff Flake, John Kasich, and Dick Cheney. These are the Republican cocktail parties that have for ages wooed and nodded with their Democratic friends and business supporters as they have broken promises after promises to us. They demanded money and status from us.
MEGALOMANIACS
During the J6 sessions, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger hid evidence that would have cleared Trump. Gen. Mark Milley conspired with the Taiwanese authorities against President Trump ( and, by extension, against all of us ). With a amazement hit piece from October, John Kelly attempted to influence the election, claiming that Trump had admired Hitler. These individuals seek energy at the expense of truth and politics.
CRAZIES
Max Boot, Jennifer Rubin, and Joe Walsh feel at home in the padded surfaces of this social clinic. Their hysterical rantings make” The View” and MSNBC appear positively reasonable in comparison. What drives them? Beats me. A bipolar message in their mind, I suppose, that screeches whenever Trump walks into see.

Or perhaps they’re the” insane” street preacher, who constantly changes the time on his hamburger board whenever the most recent deadline for the promised tragedy has passed without success. It’s not that they’re” crazy” so much as they know that there’s a market for what they’re selling.
FAUX Intellectuals
This is the moral landscape where David Brooks, Bill Kristol, George Will, Bret Stephens, and the Lincoln Project pedophiles add European and Williamson. We snubbed their counsel in 2016 by asking us to voting for Jeb! or whoever’s “turn” it was, and they never forgave us for not heeding their venerated intelligence.  ,
Little scars arrogance more than insignificance. So it ca n’t be their fault. It ca n’t be that they were wrong. As with the Obamas, we simply do n’t appreciate them enough. We’re certainly “ready” for them. And in deceit, they lash out by constantly reminding us of how primitively they view us at every turn in the biological staircase. It’s no Trump they hate, it’s us.
Whether these people are motivated by selfishness, social energy, personal spite, or great ol’ fashioned insanity, there is one thing that is certainly no motivating them: patriotism. Whatever legitimate issues they may have had at the beginning of their profession regarding the preservation of rights have long since vanished in the undergrowth of corruption and arrogance.
But their performance in this outstanding crisis is now over.
Regardless of whether Trump wins or loses on Tuesday, the Republican Party has undergone a perfect marketing. In these women’s eight-year vision to avoid this, they have utterly failed. The Right has removed them from its presence and are aware of who they are. After this vote, the Left will reject them without a second consideration because they were used for what they were for.  ,

The Right has now discarded Liz Cheney, and others will follow. French can see the writing on the wall, and his earlier essay is his final bow to us. They no longer have the respect and recognition they previously had. They are no longer a problem for us, and each one of them has handle darkness as they please. But do n’t rely on any of them to conduct it with the kindness that they demanded of Trump.
In the words of Dante:” The heavens, that their beauty no be lessened, have cast them away, nor did full Hell receive them — even the cruel cannot glory in them”.
Or, in the words of Curly Bill:” Well… bye”.
