We’re entering yet another internet routine of” Grant us another chance” in anticipation of a Donald Trump success. No regards!
Following some weeks of agonizing whining from Washington Post writers, the paper’s user, Jeff Bezos, felt compelled to explain why he directed his writer’s newspaper board not to challenge an endorsement of Kamala Harris. He remarked that “what political endorsements basically do is build a perception of bias.”
Real. Since they wo n’t be explicitly supporting one, the Post still has no idea who the Post’s preferred candidate is. The Post endorsed Barack Obama twice, Hillary Clinton, and then Joe Biden ( and also propagated the Russia hoax ), but it’s entirely possible the Post is now pro-Trump. I guess we’ll not understand, though.
Bezos went on to say his goal for his report was to change it into” a reliable, trusted, separate words”. I’m sorry, child, but it’s just too soon for that. Bezos would have had to fire every single one of the vile people who had formally detested his decision in order for that speech to keep any weight. He pays their incomes — the report is a multimillion-dollar fool — and allows them to boldly subject his judgment? No one can take him seriously, least of all when he says there’s a training correction underway.
Enhancing the mirth of the condition, The New York Times last year said Bezos “is interested in expanding The Post’s crowd among conservatives” and that he “informed” Post control” that he wants more traditional writers on the judgment section”.
Getting fired up, folks. The Post is about to bring on some strong talent, tried and true conservatives like Alyssa Farrah Griffin of ABC’s” The View” or hanger-on Joe Walsh.
That’s how this often works. Some previously prominent media outlets are experiencing an existential problems, as they all were in 2016, and promise to go through a time of self-reflection. It consistently employs people like Bret Stephens or David French before promising to show its impartiality by platforming unconventional voices. The Times received a strong pat on the back for dealing with those two outlaws who have always detested Donald Trump and who spend 90 percentage of their working days declaring their disapproval of liberals, Republicans, and right-wingers as well as advocating for their political battle.
CNN also said it wanted” conservative” reporters. That’s how we managed to get KaitLAN Collins and her brow to consistently begin every phrase she reads off the script with” Trump falsely claimed …” or” Democrat X continued spreading propaganda related to…”
They do n’t hire conservatives, Republicans, or right-wingers. They employ immoral, trained typists who will say anything important for six figures and regular cable news appearances.
It’s sad for the individuals who get hired, but it’s another lifeline for leaders like Bezos. He should n’t get to have another lifeline. Both his release and the remainder must pass away.
