In the previous articles of this research into how the Harris-Walz national campaign fabricated website content, I noted the existence of a Discord site where campaign staff collaborated with a charity troops to flood social media with campaign advertising. Additionally, the volunteers cast a large statewide ballot on social media to artificially raise or lower a candidate’s campaign-defeating content. This is a clear violation of the Terms of Service for these sites as well as being false and misleading to voters.
In both parts of the research, I discovered that this tactic had worked well to manipulate both Reddit and X. Over the past fortnight, one out of every eight of the best stories in the eight-million-member Politicians post was planted by the plan. On X, it appears that the campaign has effectively rejected Community Notes, exactly criticizing the Harris strategy for tweeting out blatant lies.
However, one particular task I discovered on the Discord site was concerning. After decades of Democrats falsely accusing Donald Trump of conspiring with Russia to rig the 2016 election and ostensibly warning of unusual election manipulation, the Harris-Walz plan is actively recruiting foreigners to help with the strategy and also encouraging them to contribute to American social causes.
Given that the Harris-Walz party’s Discord area was actively engaged in propaganda promotions, it was ripe for interference and misuse by foreign intelligence and another bad actors attempting to sway the vote, despite lacking any concrete evidence of that.  ,  ,  ,
But, my study found many foreign citizens constantly volunteering for the Harris-Walz plan. Although the FEC permits this engagement, it raises the question of whether foreigners should be able to volunteer for formal U.S. political campaigns. Their opinions ranged from expressing enthusiasm over how they could” save democracy”…
, … to Canadians sharing their plans to make highway trips to Michigan, where they aim to get door-to-door canvassing …
…and asking how they, as foreigners, may donate money to “help bank the Harris-Walz campaign” using a legitimate donation loophole…
… which was praised by the server’s moderators, who went on to distribute the link to other channels ( chats ) in the Discord server.
The site’s administrators embraced the foreigners with open hands. Administrators have the authority to delete messages, ban people, and make disclosures that reach the whole server’s user base ( 35, 000 at the time of writing ) in powerful ways in Discord communities. They were thrilled to see non-Americans back and willing to educate foreigners on how to make a significant impact in the upcoming presidential election.
On Oct. 20, 2024, the strategy pinged the worldwide group, frantically urging foreigners to email contact Wisconsin voters. Their goal was to reach 5 million salespeople calls on Kamala’s day.
A facilitator immediately assured a foreign user that “meddling in US votes” was perfectly legitimate and urged him to call the Kamala bank.
Foreign citizens are not permitted to make direct financial donations or contributions to U.S. campaigns, but the Federal Election Commission does directly permit them to volunteer for promotions as long as they are unpaid. However, the FEC does no consideration for payment loopholes, which are now being propagated throughout the Harris-Walz Discord site.
The Harris-Walz workers are evidently teaching immigrants how to skirt FEC rules. Although this may not be illegal, it is entices foreigners to influence American elections, a practice Progressives have long condemned as a major threat to democracy.
Many Americans, who believe foreigners should n’t be able to volunteer for U.S. presidential campaigns, are debating whether this directly violates election laws. American votes should be for Americans, and the Harris-Walz plan is deliberately inviting foreign forces into their plan.
