On Thursday, former US President Donald Trump extended greetings to Hindu Americans and pledged to protect them from what he termed the “anti-religion mission of the extreme left.”
Trump emphasized his dedication to promoting relations with India, a country he claimed was a crucial alliance, and protecting their rights.
Trump stated in a blog on X that” we will also defend Hindu Americans against the radical left’s anti-religious plan.” We will struggle for your flexibility. Under my administration, we will also improve our fantastic partnership with India and my excellent friend, Prime Minister Modi”.
In the midst of the social unrest following former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, Trump also condemned strikes on minorities in Bangladesh, including Hindus and Christians. ” I strongly condemn the savage violence against Hindus, Christians, and other immigrants who are getting attacked and looted by crowds in Bangladesh, which remains in a full condition of chaos”, Trump said.
Hasina’s departure on August 5 and the subsequent uprising against a controversial state employment quota system have caused the nation to be in chaos, leading to the formation of a caretaker government led by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus.
Trump has addressed the Bangladesh problems for the first time, with reports claiming thousands of Hindus were killed during demonstrations in August and July. He compared his view to that of Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden, both of whom he claimed lacked respect for Hindus both domestically and internationally.
” It would not have occurred on my see,” she said. Hindus are ignored by Kala and Joe throughout the world and America. Trump continued,” We does Make America Strong Once and bring up Peace through Strength,” adding,” but they have been a disaster from Israel to Ukraine to our own Southwestern Border.
Trump even made economic-related criticism of Biden and Harris, saying that” Kamala Harris will sabotage your smaller businesses with more restrictions and higher fees.” By comparison, I cut fees, cut rules, unleashed American power, and built the greatest business in history. We will do it again, bigger and better than previously before—and we may Make America Great Again”.
He also extended his Diwali desires, saying,” Also, Happy Diwali to All. Promise the Festival of Lights triumphs over evil in the eyes of good over evil.
Trump’s mentoring to Hindu Americans was tactical, aiming to win over this group of people while also voicing his concern for global security and economic resilience.
