I’ve been kicking points off with a few rapid thoughts on Friday by saying that we could all use our vacation to get started. &nbsp,

However, we are nearing the end of the only thousand year election cycle in American history and I am not sure that I have any neurons firing now. I may have to hit the dark web to see if there is some sort of synaptic refresh I can get in Mexico. Today’s Top O ‘ the Lecture will be brief.

This is something I’ve said a lot this week, but I’m not sure if I’ve written it ( again, brain fry ): I feel like an island of pessimism in a sea of cautious optimists. My goal is n’t to dampen the enthusiasm of my traditional friends and colleagues, but careful it may be. This is n’t an emotional defense mechanism either; it’s just a place I keep coming to after each new round of feeding my sleepy brain with election information. I’ve seen a lot of Donald Trump-related news, but I’m not one to stop waiting for the Democrats ‘ other shoe to drop. &nbsp,

That does n’t mean I ca n’t see how quickly the Trump Train is moving toward Tuesday. &nbsp,
