Lately, I annoyed and saddened the beautiful, lovable editors at PJ Media for writing however another row about fighting. (” Pinsker! If you have n’t noticed, we’re a political site and there’s a really big election going on”! ) But sometimes, when you move with enthusiasm into one rabbit tunnel, you miraculously find yourself in another.

And that’s exactly what happened below.  ,
In the famed” Rumble in the Jungle”, Muhammad Ali KO’d George Foreman. It’s one of the most popular events in sports story. And in the 50 years that followed, Ali and Foreman remained in the limelight, but in dramatically different roles: Ali lost ( and regained ) the heavyweight title one more time, attempted two ill-advised comebacks against Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbick, and spent his final days as a sad, stoic reminder of both the triumph of the human will … and the tragedy of pride ( i. e. pugilistic dementia and/or Parkinson’s disease ).
George Foreman, but, became a fat, content pitchman.
It was a shocking change, because Foreman was actually perceived as a dark, brooding, uncharismatic danger. But during his middle-aged return, Foreman was large, shaved, and continually grinning. He also advertised to us that the “knocked out the large” on his electric grills!
People loved this type of George!
In fact, if he was n’t so charming, tournament heavyweight champion Michael Moorer would’ve never given him a name picture. They fought in 1994, so the 30th celebration of that battle is really this November 5. But Moorer had only beaten Evander Holyfield, and wanted an easy cash. Foreman might be old, but he was still a good draw, so it was seen as a” safe fight” for the new champion.

In the leadup to the combat, lots was written about Moorer’s evil mindset: He’s so furious! He’s liable to murder! Who is aware of the dark, sinister ideas that are rumbling through his mind?
Nothing wrote in that manner about George. After all, we love George: he’s overweight and content.
However, a blogger came to the conclusion that Foreman was wearing the same roots as he did in the Rumble in the Jungle at some point during their battle.
Foreman was therefore emotionally abused by that awful, humiliating, heartbreaking decline to Ali, it really drove him to take those trunks out of the mothballs. And those clothes were the exact same as those worn by him when he defeated Michael Moorer in the twelfth round, making history as the older heavy champion.
That’s when the internet realized they’d been psychoanalyzing the bad person all along.
We’re approaching things equivalent in the 2024 election. So much has been written about Donald Trump’s philosophy, always in the shadiest of words:
You name the cancer, he’s got it:
Narcissism? You betcha! Vanity Fair considers that. The therapist they dug up, Charlotte Prozan, really said,” He’s really easy to detect”. ( Even though they never met. ) Mary Trump, his estranged daughter, agreed. Thus did a “leading” psychologist.
Sociopath? You betcha! Vanity Fair thinks so ( they added that he’s a “violent sociopath”, in fact. ) Mary Trump, his estranged daughter, agreed. ( Are you noticing a trend? )
Psycho? You betcha! The New York Daily News considers this to be true. Mary Trump agreed — and thus did her brother psychology.
Pathological? You betcha! According to Rolling Stone, yes. Mary Trump, his estranged sister, agreed. ” The most important thing is his behaviour, which is obviously pathological”, she told the media.
God Complex? You betcha! CNN and Rolling Stone both believe in this.
Megalomania? You betcha! Salon newspaper believes thus.
Inferiority Complex? You betcha! CNN thinks thus. But does MSNBC.
If the echoes of Goldwater were n’t evident enough, just four days ago George Conway’s PAC released an open letter of 230 psychiatrists and mental health “experts” who all agree that Trump is unfit for office due to his” symptoms of severe, untreatable personality disorder — malignant narcissism”, which has left him “deceitful, destructive, deluded, and dangerous”.

Have you noticed that the Democrats have become the gathering of Daddy Issues, while the media is fixated on Trump?
It began with Bill Clinton. Much has been written about Slick Willy’s ( ahem ) difficulties with “impulse control”, and his rocky, untraditional upbringing. A violent and abusive papa, who was almost truly violent and abusive, saw him for the last time when Barack was just 10 years old, gave him another Daddy Issues.
And this brings us to Kamala Harris. As we noted:
Did you know that Kamala and her parents, Stanford doctor Donald J. Harris, live only a mile off in D. C., but not speak?
Professor Harris is her only living parent, but he did n’t even show up at the Democratic National Convention to see his own daughter accept the party’s nomination for president. ( The New Yorker describes them as estranged. )
Furthermore:
I’m not condemning Harris for coming from a broken home: You ca n’t blame a seven-year-old for her parents ‘ marriage ending. But a bitter, angry marriage, where the father leaves and one’s life are uprooted, almost certainly produces psychic swelling in a small child.
Yet a blind person could see that there is more to the tale than what has been told. There’s everything deeper going on.  ,
Her just living family is Donald Harris. After retiring from training at Stanford, he moved to D. C. and life within one hour of his princess. And they never speak? He skipped the DNC to see his own daughter’s presidential campaign run for president.  ,
But how does Kamala Harris identify her youth? C’mon, people, say it with me:” I come from a middle-class relatives”!
It’s now a cliché. Much after Election Day comes and goes, that line will persist. Decades from now, when one asks you a hard issue, you’ll be able to make the titters with a well-timed,” I come from a middle-class household”!
If anyone is suffering from profound, untreated psychological issues, it’s probably Kamala. Without creating a false story, she literally ca n’t even mention her childhood!
She did n’t come from a middle-class family, she came from a broken family. And today, her family is still broken.

Do you need proof that the Democratic Party has surpassed” Daddy Issues”? Kamala Harris snubbed” The Joe Rogan Experience” — literally the most influential podcast in the Western world — to do the” Call Her Daddy” podcast instead!
Paging Doctor Freud…
Of course, some media outlets will put a smile on it. In their article,” When Children Are Better Off Fatherless,” The New York Times actually cited Bill Clinton and Barack Obama as positive examples.
That’s not to say that conservatives always hail from perfect, immaculate families. Gerald Ford’s father was a cruel alcoholic. When Ronald Reagan was just 11 years old, he was forced to drag his drunken father inside when he drank in the snow. Nor does this imply that we should ever hold a child accountable for their parents ‘ inadequacies.
However, it’s obvious that one party supports traditional family values while the other party agrees with the New York Times: Hey, many kids would be better off without a father. They’re really not necessary.
Perhaps the absence of a reliable, caring, loving father will manifest itself in unpredictable ways. Perhaps Kamala’s ( rumored ) affinity for alcohol and history of May-December relationships with much-older men, including Willie Brown, are indicative of untreated trauma. ( Harris and Brown first dated when he was in his 60s and she was in his 20s. )

Could be a lot of things. Could be none of these things.
But either way, there’s a chair behind the Oval Office desk— not a couch. The mentally ill are NOT able to serve in the presidency. Harris emerged as the Democrat’s preemptive nominee 104 days ago and STILL has n’t held a single formal press conference. Her campaign is unwilling to place her in unpredictable ( and un-editable ) situations.
Unfortunately, the presidency is the most unpredictable job in the world. And Kamala, it seems, is burdened with too many “issues” to handle the workload.
She certainly has n’t proven otherwise… and there’s only three days left.
