If you woke up on Friday night and read the headlines of any major internet store, you may assume past president Donald Trump had threatened past representative Liz Cheney with firing squad murder. Four days before the election, you would believe Trump had just said, on a stage in Arizona with Tucker Carlson, that if elected he would own Cheney killed.
He did n’t say that of course. A large media and Harris strategy psyop was and is planned to stifle the election, lower and lower GOP voters, and set the stage for Donald Trump’s possible reelection if he wins on Tuesday.
How’s a sampling of what the media said. ” Trump threatens ex-Rep. Liz Cheney with execution by firing squad” , , blared a headline , from New York Daily News. The New York Times was just slightly more delicate in , its title,” Trump Assails Liz Cheney and Imagines Guns ‘ Shooting at Her.'” Not to be outdone, The Washington Post , went with” Trump embraces harsh language, suggests Liz Cheney does had guns ‘ trained on her encounter,'” while CNN , declared,” Trump says ‘ war hawk ‘ Liz Cheney should been fired upon in escalation of aggressive rhetoric against his opponents”.
None of that is accurate. Anyone who watched the entire picture of Trump’s comments could tell for themselves that Trump was referring to Cheney as a “neocon battle hawk” who had the guts to bear the consequences of her own policies. He , said,” She’s a dramatic war bird. This place her with a shotgun, standing it with nine containers shooting at her, OK? Let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the weapons are trained on her face. You know, they’re all conflict hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a great building saying,’ Gee, come give 10, 000 troops straight into the mouth of the enemy.'”
Lawmakers pushing for war without carrying the costs of fighting them is obviously facetious, right? Therefore, it was obvious that the internet was fabricating information that was readily apparent. Why? Because virtually as soon as those stories appeared, Vice President Kamala Harris , got in front of a lens and kicked off a new round of articles by saying this:” He has increased his harsh language, Donald Trump has, about political opponents. And in great detail, in great detail, suggested rifles may be trained on past Rep. Liz Cheney. This must be disqualifying. Anyone who wants to become president of the United States and uses that kind of violent language is obviously unqualified and disqualified.
Notice the change from “unfit”, which is what Harris typically says about Trump, to “disqualified”. That speech change may be clear about its intended purpose. Liberals and the corporate press are aware that Harris is likely to lose the election, so they are now using this as a pretext to stop a successful Trump from taking office on January 20. They will repeat the claim that he’s “disqualified”  , ad nauseam , between now and then to prepare the rhetorical ground for what comes next.
However, we can now identify the broad details of what’s coming future. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, who was quoting Kamala as saying” to investigate whether Donald Trump’s remarks about Liz Cheney constituted a suicide threat under Arizona law,” was just as Kamala made her assertion. Mayes said,” I’m not prepared to say whether it was or was n’t,” but it is ineffective as we try to ensure that we keep the peace at our polling places and in our state.
That information triggered but a third round of articles. In just a few days, hundreds and hundreds of reports had been published and broadcast parts had been aired, all of which had been based on the blatantly false idea that Trump had threatened to kill Liz Cheney by firing squad. ( For a partial list of prominent journalists and pundits who repeated the lie on Friday, see , this piece , by my colleagues Kylee Griswold and Beth Brelje. )  ,
In the run-up to the vote, the Harris battle, and the elected Democrats all conspired to inflate this in a different way than mass election interference. It is , true “disinformation”, and it comes amid more election interference by the White House itself.
In the wake of President Joe Biden’s smear of Trump supporters as “garbage”, the White House was caught falsifying federal documents by , fraudulently altering the transcript of his remarks  , to make it appear that he did n’t call Trump supporters garbage. The Associated Press reported on this for the first time on Thursday night, claiming that official state reporters had ethical issues raised by the changes.  ,
In an email the AP obtained, a White House officer wrote that “if there is a change in understanding, the Press Office may choose to withdraw the text but could edit it separately”. The officer then added that the edition of the Stenography Office record that was made available to press office staff, which also included the National Archives, is now different.
Suddenly, Democrats are flooding the area with lies, errors, and fabrications in the final days of the campaign because they know they’re about to drop at the ballot box. The majority of Americans wo n’t notice the adjustments or the criticism from the conservative media. They will just be the subject of thousands of headlines before it’s all over, claiming that Trump had threatened Cheney and might have committed a crime. That in turn will be used to build a narrative, already well underway, that he is “disqualified” from the presidency — no matter how the election turns out.
In the upcoming weeks and months, it’s difficult to predict what strategies Democrats might use to negate Trump’s election victory. The situation is fluid. Both the Harris campaign and its affiliated corporate media are influencing and manipulating the messages that are being delivered. But do n’t kid yourself, they have no intention of letting go of power, and they will lie, cheat, and steal — whatever they have to do — to hold onto it.
