I have n’t done many political rallies in my day. I avoid crowds as often as I can because I do n’t care for crowds other than at sporting events and concerts. Again in 2022, I covered a rally for Herschel Walker, but it was an outside gathering that took place just 15 minutes away from my house.

But when I found out that I could get press credentials for Donald Trump’s rally in Macon, Ga., about an hour and a half from me, I could n’t resist. Producer Jim ( of Five O’Clock Somewhere fame ) and I traded on our status as conservative media figures and obtained a press pass. There is hardly any line to enter, and I can stay at a folding table with my computer in the media region.
But that’s enough for me. Atrium Health Amphitheater attracted a large crowd of thick Georgians to see Donald Trump. He had already been live in Pennsylvania and North Carolina before making his way to Macon, which was part of a long day of gatherings.
The audience was diverse, with parents and kids of all ages and people of all races and cultures. Construction personnel in their products waited alongside them in sportcoats and relations. Excited children waited alongside their families who were extremely thrilled. The venue was electric, with a playlist that warmed by GenX heart, and you could n’t have asked for a more perfect day for a rally like this.
The protest began when State Sen. John Kennedy (R-18th District ) gave an opening meditation, Wayne Johnson, the Republican candidate for the 2nd Congressional District, led the rallygoers in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Mayor Brooke Huckaby of Arabi, Ga., the world’s youngest female president, sang the National Anthem.
Trump’s starting acts were flaming and got the masses even more thrilled. Josh McKoon, the head of Georgia’s Republican Party, discussed how the state party system had sued to help Republican poll watchers in Fulton County, and Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper discussed the link between agriculture and frontier protection. Past representative Doug Collins discussed how Trump will address the issues that the Biden-Harris management brought on.

Former senator Kelly Loeffler spoke about Mark Cuban and his claim that powerful women do n’t back Trump. She discussed how talented Citizens have endured “four terrible times” of the current leadership.
” We’re not going to take it anymore”, she added. ” Donald Trump took a shot for us”, said Brian Jack, the GOP member for Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District. Voting for him is the least we may do.
Rep. Andrew Clyde used gospel to illustrate the truth-believing of the Georgia Republicans. He referenced Joe Biden’s comment that Trump supporters are “garbage” with the reply,” One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Clyde had some new meaning for MAGA:” Create Aliens Gone Once” and” Make Cheap Gas Again”.
Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga. ) — my congressman — spoke about the importance of voting against Trump because he’s not just running against Kamala Harris, he’s running against the entire woke establishment. He relyed on the language of the Georgia Bulldogs and appealed to citizens to” Hunker Down.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga. ) talked about how Democrats call Republicans names constantly, but she declared,” We are not garbage. We are no Germans. We are never conservatives. We are never terrible”. Additionally, she added that Trump would “protect the American wish that you’re fighting for.”
” The departed does not care about empowering women, but Donald Trump does”, said Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-Ark. ) She cited the horrifying problems the left had on her and claimed that Trump had given her the courage to continue working as his press secretary.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla. ) spoke of his parents ‘ Cuban ancestry and how they believed in the promise of America. ” I’m an American by birth, they’re Americans by option”, he said. ( Rubio also referenced the Florida Gators, which got boos in a Bulldog-friendly crowd. )
” When did making America great become offensive”? Rubio asked. We need a leader who places you and everyone else before everything else.
Lt. Gov. With a video titled” How’bout Them Dawgs on Saturday night,” Burt Jones (R-Ga. ), a Macon area native and former University of Georgia football player, made reference to Rubio’s Florida Gator alumni status. He also discussed how Macon’s society has greatly contributed to the relief efforts wrought by Hurricane Helene.
As long as people cast ballots on the issues, the race should n’t be close, according to Jones. He decried the regional media’s demonization of Trump.
The Bulldog honest chanted and booed Walker in the audience. He compared Trump’s conflict with the latest creation to the revolution of the founding father against King George III.
” Donald Trump is n’t just my friend”, Walker declared. ” He’s your friend”.
After a long music break, including classics like” Whole Lotta Love”,” Come On, Eileen”, and” Rich Men North of Richmond”, Trump campaign senior adviser Stephen Miller and Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La. ) fueled the audience even more.  ,
Around 8 p. m., Trump came out, his speech worn out from so many gatherings over the past few weeks. He asked,” Are you better off than you were four years ago”?
Making positive we get every vote to appoint Trump became the theme of this march. The conversation was a standard Trump speech: rhetoric, remarks, bold statements, and heartfelt pertains to vote. He contrasted the bets of this vote: four more years of failing or four years of glory.

” I do n’t want your money”, he said,” I do n’t want anything. I just want you to cast your ballot.
As Trump addressed the plague of our boundary crisis, the march became more gloomy. He briefly addressed charity and entrepreneur Steve Witkoff. Wittkoff took the home of a victim of unlawful immigrant trafficking to Trump, and the victim’s family shared her story.
” He’s the only one we need to protect our state”, the victim’s family said of Trump. ” We need everyone to vote. Talking wo n’t do anything. Voting is the only means that we can keep this nation. Donald Trump is not just a decision, he is the amount one”.
Prior to an assassin’s attempt to kill him, Trump requested that the professional team bring up the chart in Butler, Pennsylvania. He managed to inject a little fun even among the terrible tales of illegal emigration.
” I love that table, it’s my beloved table in the world”, he quipped. ” I sleep with it every day”.
After pointing out the boost in illegal immigration under the Biden-Harris management, Jocelyn Nungaray’s family appeared on videos to describe how the government’s policies led to her mother’s death.
Trump shifted the focus to the market. He cited the economic success and relative stability of the world during his term in office, and he said,” The problem is getting rid of these people]in power ].”
” Under my administration, we’re going to change this financial nightmare into an financial miracle”, he promised. He stated to the audience that he wants to redistribute wealth and affordability in America.

He joked,” I still like to getting away with saying that I’m not a politician, but after nine years, I guess I am,” and he claimed he had not understood how people may choose a politician who raises taxes on people. He reiterated his claim of no income on ideas, time, or Social Security.
In typical Trump fashion, he claimed that he’s in the lead in the polls, even though his campaign does n’t want him to say it. However, he made it clear to the audience that people must go out and cast ballots in quantities that will allow him to have a mission to save this nation.
” This is not a rally”, Trump said,” It’s a request to get people to go out and vote”.
