Two police officers were spotted frequently striking various followers in the stands during the Georgia-Florida college football game at EverBank Stadium on Saturday.
One officer struck a supporter currently over three times in a 15-second videos shared on X, and another official struck a diverse supporter at least seven times before forcing him onto the cement. A second officer who was not in any physical altercation as seen in the video continued to be unconcerned.
A witness yelled,” Why are you punching him?,” in horror. as one official kept striking the follower regularly.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded on X on Saturday, saying,” The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s Professional Standards Division is aware of the video circulating from the Georgia-Florida basketball game. Operational investigations of the situations are being conducted. As a result, the agency wo n’t make comments until all details are known and the reviews have been completed.
While there have been altercations between spectators at various sporting events this time, including those at MetLife Stadium and State Farm Stadium, this incident stood out as a result of law enforcement’s presence.
The incident occurred only over 11 hours into this monthly conflict fit, which is typically played at Jacksonville as a natural place known as” The World’s Largest Cocktail Party,” with simply over 11 minutes remaining in the third quarter of that year’s match.
