Universities love to tout diversity, but they do n’t practice what they preach.
Political academics far outnumber Republican professors in a study that The College Fix recently conducted that looked up professors’ political party registrations.
Of the seven colleges reviewed so far, only 6.7 % of academics with known connections are registered Republicans, compared to 72 percent who have.
At the University of Oklahoma, UNC Chapel Hill, and Florida State University, there were no Democrat faculty in six arts agencies. Seven arts departments at North Carolina State University do not have a recognized registered Republican teacher.
Four arts agencies at the University of Florida did not appear to have any Democrat faculty. Three arts agencies at the University of Central Florida each lacked a recognizable Democratic doctor. Democratic professors were absent from five various arts agencies at the University of Arizona.
By digging deeper into the statistics, the job has so far identified 1,072 Democratic academics, compared to just 100 Democratic ones.
