After explicit videos allegedly featuring him were discovered on his computer, Baltasar Ebang Engonga, director general of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency ( ANIF), is being investigated. According to reports, Engonga appears to be having compromising relationships with several companions, including members of his family and a figure-player for the country’s president.
Over 400 films have been found on Engonga’s system, showing him engaged in intimate works with many partners at different locations, including his business, hotels, and public restrooms.
When the movies were discovered, authorities first looked into Engonga’s possible fraud. The attorney general’s office, led by Anatolio Nzang Nguema, is presently examining how the video were leaked and whether Engonga’s activities pose a public health threat. ” If proven, he could face fees for endangering public health”, said a spokeswoman from the attorney general’s office, according to press reports.
The video apparently feature people including the executive’s son’s wife, a aunt, and a relative of the leader of Equatorial Guinea. Although all fights were reported as being mutual, there has been discussion on social media about the articles.
Equatorial Guinea has become a center of much discussion as a result of the incident, which caused vice president Teodoro Nguema to respond. He reminded federal officials that “ministries are only intended for operational work” in a post on social media app X. He added that more stringent controls may be put in place, and that anyone found breaking these guidelines would be fired.
Engonga, who is married with six kids, is a popular figure at ANIF, responsible for investigating financial acts and tackling corruption. The leaked video have impacted his professional career and sparked debate about how government leaders act.
