At least 20 people have been killed by an Israeli strike in the north Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian health authorities, mainly women and children.
The strike late on Monday struck a house in Beit Lahiya, according to Hossam Abu Safiya, the chairman of a local hospital that treated the injured.
The dead included eight women and six children, according to a listing provided by the Gaza health agency’s emergency services.
