We do n’t officially know how big of a majority the Republicans will have, but there are still some states that have n’t been called yet. At the time of writing, Arizona is widely anticipated to gain, but some recent polls have suggested Kari Lake is in the lead. We’ll have to rush see about that.  ,

In Michigan, Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin has long been favored to succeed against former GOP Rep. Mike Rogers.
It is exciting to see Republicans actually capturing control of the Senate. We at least understand that if Kamala Harris apparently pulls off a spectacular come-from-behind win, there will be a substantial check on her as we wait the official results of the national election. Had Democrats kept a majority in the Senate, Harris, if she were to win the election, which does n’t look likely at this point, and her allies would certainly target the filibuster, which she has already said she’d eliminate to push through policies like the Green New Deal. In addition, this same majority may encourage Democratic ambitions to establish D. C. and Puerto Rico as state, thereby boosting Democrat statewide power.
The last thing we needed was for her government to possess complete control. When Democrats next controlled the House, Senate, and White House under Joe Biden, they moved rapidly to strengthen their power. They’ve constantly looked to the authorities to advance their agenda, and under Biden, work to package the Supreme Court resurfaced. Although his committee eventually dismissed the idea, his administration remained focused on “reforming” the judiciary—a mission Harris would probably bring forth.

However, Donald Trump’s chances of winning the presidency currently look promising, which means he will have the ability to confirm judicial nominations and possibly receive two Supreme Court justices.
