The State Parks Division will relinquish any day-use and overnight camping costs on , Monday, Nov. 11, for , New Mexico , soldiers, effective defense,  , National Guard , and their children in reputation of , Veterans Day.
” It is our opportunity to say thank you to our veterans and to let them know we are thankful for their concessions and achievement”, said , Toby Velasquez, State Parks producer, in a news release. We also want to pay homage to the numerous soldiers who are currently employed in our state parks to preserve and enhance the natural beauty and open spaces we value. Their efforts may be cherished for generations to come.
In partnership with the , New Mexico Department of Veterans Services, the State Parks Division even honors , New Mexico , soldiers who have a 50 % or greater service-connected impairments with an annual day-use move and one three-day trekking pass per month.
