Jed Handelsman Shugerman, a prominent law professor at Boston University, argued Wednesday that the reason Donald Trump won and Kamala Harris lost the 2024 presidential race is due to” toxic masculinity” and” white supremacy”.
Someone who blames Harris or Walz for today’s episode has completely lost the plot and, in addition, missed the point. This is ultimately about America, dangerous manhood, &, white supremacy. Blaming Harris may be part of that issue, not the remedy”, the doctor posted on X early Wednesday morning. ” She deserves our cheers. Bless you, @vp @KamalaHarris”.
In a follow-up post, he argued Harris “ran a strong, dynamic, exciting, proper, &, organized campaign in less time than anyone in modern US history. You made us proud to be on both the compassionate and historical sides of story.
The article quickly went viral, collecting more than 169, 000 opinions during Wednesday’s night hours.
People blaming Harris or Walz now has completely lost the plot and/or missed the point.
This is necessarily about America, dangerous manhood, &, white supremacy.
Blaming Harris may be part of that issue, not the answer.

Shugerman, a frequent columnist for Slate, a contribution to The New York Times, and his own website, had predicted a Harris-Walz win the day before the election.

According to his university profile, he is a recognized legal researcher on the subjects of constitutional law and governance, co-authoring “amicus papers on the story of political power, the Wages Provisions, the Appointments Clause, the First Amendment rights of elected judges, and the due process problems of elected judges in death penalties cases.”
However, he posted a number of dissented thoughts on X.

According to another article in The College Fix, an English professor at the University of South Carolina claimed that “uneducated” Americans are holding the nation “hostage” as a result of the poll benefits.
