After Bette Midler’s rival was elected leader for the next day on Tuesday night, the X accounts run by singer and vocal Donald Trump critic was no more online.
A message reading” This account does n’t exist” appeared under the handle @BetteMidler Wednesday morning. On the app, Midler also criticized Trump’s substitute Elon Musk and X user.
It’s unclear whether the singer herself removed her status or whether she had just deleted her account. Midler and X’s exercises have not responded to a Daily News request for comment.
Prior to Trump’s victory, The Divine Miss M was effective on X. On that accounts, she posted a picture of a bottle of champagne and a bottle of Drano on Election Day. She made fun of Kamala Harris ‘ triumph by donating champagne. Trump’s victory was the dangerous drain cleaner. The 78-year-old Grammy success encouraged Harris followers to cast ballots throughout the day and made comments about the outcome.
Trump and Midler , reportedly battled , on X when it was called Online, due to Trump’s restrictions from the system that Musk purchased in April 2022 and rebranded in July 2023.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Midler, 78, first started using social media to justify his ex-reality Television celebrity status in 2012.
In 2019,  , the” Wind Beneath My Wings” song tweeted a false image quoting Trump calling Democratic voters credulous and easily manipulated. He responded by calling her a “washed off psycho” in response.
Midler clarified that the tweet about Trump, who was then in his first term as president and was on a diplomatic trip to Europe, was false.
Midler wrote to fans who supported her in that dispute,” I want to thank people who came to my defense last evening during my private Battle of the Bulge with he who must not be named.”
Midler , had n’t yet commented , on Instagram Wednesday morning. She has 1.4 million fans on that system.
On January 20, Trump is expected to resign from business.
