The recent success of Republican Party and former President Donald Trump in the US elections is making waves in Canada, where right-wing officials are challenging Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s guidelines on immigration, climate change, and federal spending.
People’s Party of Canada ( PPC ) leader Maxime Bernier has been one of Trudeau’s loudest critics, calling for Canada to adopt a more conservative approach to avoid being “outcompeted” by the US.
After Trump’s success, PPC main Bernier issued a searing criticism of the Trudeau government.
” Canada needs to cut government spending, cut taxes, cut overwhelming red tape, get rid of its costly and inefficient climate policy, prohibit all its stupid La programs, stop mass immigration, and create a business climate where workers, entrepreneurs, and investors can grow. Or else we will become utterly defeated by the US, suffer a significant brain dump, and observe our standard of living decline,” Bernier said.
Bernier, a longstanding critic of Trudeau’s immigration attitude, has argued that great immigration rates contribute to rising gang-related murder in American cities.
He even criticized Trudeau and Pierre Poilievre, the Conservative leader, for their silence regarding the violent incidents that occurred on November 3 with Khalistan separatist followers.
Not one of these liars yet dares to mention the Khalistani Sikhs who are the perpetrators of the hostility. They’re afraid to offend some voters, even though Khalistani backers are a majority of Sikh Canadians. He posted on X, explaining why Khalistani fanaticism is growing in this nation.
One of the few American officials to openly criticize the attackers of the Hindu Sabha Temple in Toronto when the Hindu Sabha Temple was attacked earlier this month was Bernier. He had even made threats against Jagmeet Singh and Trudeau for no mentioning Khalistani groups.
His unwavering support for the issue has been praised by American Hindu organizations, including the Hindu Forum Canada, who recently praised Bernier for stepping up against fanaticism, even when it is politically dangerous.
” The solitude of other leaders, who prioritise voting charm over public health, continues to allow the rise of radical ideologies that damage our communities”, the Hindu Forum Canada said in a statement.
” As Canadians, we deserve officials who denounce murder and love without fear. Our votes may indicate principles of justice, responsibilities, and a dedication to peace”.
As the stress builds, Trudeau’s democratic future eyes confusion, especially with the opposition now leading in projections for the 2025 national poll.
