Great night. Great night. Good night. Bless you. Thank you, delight. Nice to see the Cabinet and team up. Bless you. Bless you. Thank you, choose. Bless you. Bless you. Bless you. It’s great to see you all. Especially impressive to see my daughter sitting in the front column of this. How are you, honey?
America has conducted the biggest self-government study in world history for more than 200 years. That’s not narrative, that’s a point. For the individuals. The citizens voting and choose their own leaders, and they do it calmly, and we’re in a democrac. The will of the people generally prevails. I spoke with the president-elect Trump yesterday to thank him on his success, and I assured him that I would work with his whole management to maintain a peaceful and orderly changeover. That’s what the British citizens deserve.
Monday, I also spoke with Vice President Harris. She’s been a lover and a common servant. She ran an exciting campaign, and all got to see something that I learned early on to value thus much: her personality. She has a core like a hammer. She has tremendous figure, real character. She and her whole squad should be glad of the plan they ran, and she did it with all her soul and effort.
You know, the battle for America’s consciousness has always been a topic of discussion that is still relevant now. I know for some people, it’s a day for triumph, to state the obvious. For some, it’s a time of loss. Events of competing visions are battles. We accept the decision the land made, regardless of whether one or the other is the country’s. I’ve said many times: You ca n’t love your country only when you win. You ca n’t love your neighbor only when you agree. Something I hope we can do, no matter who you voted for, is see each other not as enemies but as other Americans, take down the temperature. I’m hoping that the problem of the legitimacy of the British electoral system can be resolved. It is fair, it is good and it is clear, and it can be trusted, win or lose. We may thank all of our election workers who braved their heads and took challenges right away, as well, if we can win their respect. Thank them for staffing election sites, counting the votes, protecting the very dignity of the vote. Many of them are individuals who do it just out of passion for their land, and as they did, as they did their duty as people, I did do my duty as chairman. I’ll accomplish my vow, and I will respect the Constitution. On Jan. 20, we’ll have a peaceful transfer of power these in America.
To all our outstanding workers, followers, Cabinet people, all the people who have been hanging out with me for the last 40 times: God like you, as my mother would say. Thank you so much. You invested a lot of money in the last four decades. I know it’s a hard day. You’re hurting. I hear you, and I see you. Do n’t forget. Do n’t forget all that we accomplished. It’s been a traditional administration, not because I’m leader, but because of what we’ve done, what you’ve done, a president of all Americans. The American citizens now notice the impact of the job we’ve done. The majority of it wo n’t be felt for the next ten years. We have policy we passed. We’re only just starting to notice over$ 1 trillion worth of network work completed, changing people’s lives in rural areas and areas that are in real trouble because it takes occasion to get it done, and much more. It’s going to take time, but it’s it. The path ahead is clear, assuming we sustain it. There’s so much, but much we can get done and will get done based on the way the legislation was passed, and it’s truly historic. You know, we’re leaving behind the strongest economy in the world. I know people are also hurting, but things are changing fast. Collectively, we’ve changed America for the better. Now we have 74 times to complete the expression, our expression. This make every moment matter. That’s the role we have to the British people.
Look, people, you all know in your lives losses are inevitable, but giving upward is inexcusable. Setbacks are obvious, but giving away is terrible. We all get knocked down, but the estimate of our figure, as my dad would say, is how fast we get back up. Consider, a fight does not mean we are defeated. We lost this war. The America of your goals is calling on you to rise again. That’s the history of America for over 240 years and counting. It’s a tale for all of us, not just some of us. The American study persists. We’re going to get OK, but we need to be engaged. We need to keep going, and above all, we need to keep the faith. I’m so happy to include collaborated with you all. I mean it, actually. I mean it with all sincerity. God thank you all. God thank America, and may God guard our troops. Bless you. Bless you. Bless you.
