The White House disputed any responsibility for Vice President Kamala Harris ‘ defeat in the election, citing President-elect Donald Trump’s history of world conflict and President Joe Biden‘s record against the then-president.
Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was pressed on Thursday at a White House press conference, the first since the vote, to inquire as to whether Biden showed “arrogance” by claiming that the president is still the only people to do so.
The reporter inquired as to why Biden and his experts did not make a unique choice and whether he should have resigned sooner.

Jean-Pierre responded by, essentially, pointing to the score.
” There were more than 20 candidates who tried to beat]Trump ]”, she said. ” ]Biden ] was the only one that has been able to do that”.
In the wake of Harris’s unsuccessful 2024 move, there was some rehashing after the comment, but Jean-Pierre was on par to support and accept Harris.
Jean-Pierre said “headwinds”, including the COVID-19 crisis, contributed to Harris’s damage, as it led to provide network slowdowns and therefore prices.
